I wish kadmos' eyes weren't so damn close together, he's made me want a Star Saber but I can't find the MP for cheap in good condition.

I wonder if planet x would be up for offering a new head (or the actual part the eyes are cast on) with a future release of theirs

If replacement joints are made, I sincerely hope they don't come with Leo. Because I have less than zero interest in Leo. And same for a G1 set.

Replacement joints should be offered on their own, and preferably free of costs (save shipping) since it is a flaw of the current figure that should've been fixed prior to release.

    Finally got mine.

So far the leg joints are exactly as tight as they should be. I'll let you know if that changes over time. The fingers are slightly too tight, but not enough to make me think they're gonna break.
Never had much of a problem with the head to begin with, but I think it looks great in person. I prefer the shorter faceplate, but the longer one looks just fine. The dent in his ear is there, but I barely notice it. My main complaint with the head is that the area behind the eyes isn't painted, but even that doesn't bother me much.
Saber exists. His robot mode is neat and his alt mode is weird. I haven't seen Victory so he'll probably never leave Star Saber's chest again.
I'm not a fan of chrome, so it'll take me some time to get used to the sword. And the 3 dents on one side of the blade are currently the most distracting thing about this figure for me.
Everything else is pretty much perfect. This is a 9.5/10 from me as long as the joints don't get worse.

Also, Saber's hands are technically able to hold something, but 5mm weapons don't fit. Does G1 Saber have a weapon? Maybe something will be included with Victory Leo.

Is it 4 mm or 3mm diameter at least? It's always annoying when 3Ps use odd hole sizes.

Seems to be 4mm. I don't have anything to test it with, though.

Absolutely. It doesn't take much to change the aesthetics from G1 to a more, modernized, non-G1 look. Granted it would involve PX giving the design their "vision" of what a IDW Victory Lio, but you get my gist, no?

It's that stupid latch. It forces the head back and if you close the landing gear cover, it pushes against the antennae.

Why on Earth did they design it this way? Never had this problem with Deathsaurus. Some of Star Saber's design feels really rushed, even though it was delayed.

    Argh, indeed.

Just got mine. He's pretty dope. I love the heft, his transformation is straightforward, and he's poseable as all get out. A lovely pairing with Ismenios. I do hope for a G1 kit, but I'll survive without one (gun, head, new shoulder pauldrons, new Saber to change up the chest). The head transformation is a bit ill-thought-out, but it's something I can be careful with (I did the same thing TFXProtector did with my Cross Dimension Jetfire).

Now I would love to see Victory Leo in proto form and whoever PX-C04 will be as at least a silhouette. Honestly, if they just made all the non-combiner Victory characters in IDW style, then provided G1 kits afterwards, I'd be happy as a clam.

Oh damn! I haven’t been especially careful with that area but I will now.

Did you turn the head 180°? I can't really see how this can happen unless you didn't, but I guess I'll be more careful with mine from now on.
It's a shame either way. Maybe whatever site you got it from will give you a replacement?

Can someone compare MP Saber (Not Star Saber) with Kadmos?

I did, actually. The panels for the landing gear hit it just right and bam, broken antenna. Gluing it back was a pain. I then nail polish clear coated it to give extra outside support. Seems to be holding, I just won't be touching it at all anymore. Kind of hard to avoid it with the head and shoulder set up being so tight and narrow in spots.

Requiring a head to be tilted when it has tiny, pointy bits to tuck inside a chamber is just a stupid design choice.

Anyone got a good idea on the color of the metallic light blue on his arms? Gotta paint those screw covers before I put them in

Just unpacked him and he's gorgeous. Absolutely beautiful. Going to be an eye-catching piece of shelf porno for sure.

That said, I agree with those who've said the design choices are weird. Metal thighs? And flimsy plastic feet? WTF? We're going to need an upgrade kit of die-cast feet with screws/pins to go into those plastic spurs. Posing him is a NIGHTMARE. Will not stay in anything other than a quarter-spread.

The eyes don't bother me unless I look super-close.

Mine showed up earlier today. After messing around with him for most of the day, I'm glad I decided to purchase him. Initially, I was going to skip him due to the unnecessary die-cast (IMO), but my desire to own a physical copy of one of my favorite IDW designs eventually swayed my opinion, him being Prime Wars Leader class size also helped. To me, the eyes look better in-hand compare to the images; the fingers are a tad too tight, but I feel they won't break ("Famous last words"). Despite saying I don't like the die-cast, I'll admit, it adds some nice heft to the figure. The inclusion of Saber is a nice bonus, but he's on permanent chest duty for me.
