True, same here. I was replying to the guy saying there's only been "other" companies making substantial SW product for about the last 5 years - it's closer to 15-20 years.

It being part of The Vintage Collection (including packaging) is what really helped push me with the Sail Barge.

They've done post-G1 several times, any further amount would depend upon the success of sales. There was a bunch of BW figures in the Thrilling 30 timeframe, and ALL of them were still available much later at deep clearance. You're deluding yourself if you think they're motivated by anything other than selling product.

WHY do you think it's a "fact" and where do you think those websites are going to get Unicron from?

Some people have it stuck in their head this Unicron is massively overpriced........ so they think there is room for hundreds of $$ able to be added for free....... when that's not the truth at all.

I'm curious...the art IGN included with Unicron holding Galvatron...that would make a great piece of art to include...

The itty-bitty Galvatron looks...meh. I'm good with the scale. Hopefully that is a prelim mock-up. The switchable chin is cool. Either way, TF:TM accurate.

The 1986 animated movie is, in fact, fucking great. The animation is gorgeous, the plot is batshit crazy, the voice talent is legit, and it’s full of memorable moments. That’s why grown men are still talking about it over thirty years later.

Hot Take Jones, I have to disagree with you. The music is the opposite of awful. It not only stands the test of time, its been beautifully redone by The Cybertronic Spree in thier recent kickstarter that was immediately successful.

LOL A shitty looking statue blob and a... chin?
And that is meant to push people over the edge into coughing up $575 dollary-doos?
    A... chin?

I can see that being included in a future Cracked list... "The top 10 crappiest ever bonus add-ins" alongside the cheap nylon Fallout 76 "canvas" bags.

Probably just coincidence from all the folks who typically like to wait for the last minute.

Imagine thinking the '86 movie had an awful soundtrack.

It is silly, but when you go all the way back to the single digit pages of this thread and look at the earliest complaints, people were complaining about him having the wrong chin.

Right, those people are stupid it's only moderately overpriced! Now that you get a little Galvatron crusty, they may actually be taking a loss.

Most high-end collectables have optional parts. Allowing the choice of whichever Unicron you want your figure to represent is a pretty cool bonus.

I think someone from hasbro confirmed it, however, you may be right, because it came to me secondhand from another user, could just be hearsay.

I knew they would do a small Galvatron for this BUT very disappointed on what they gave us. It looks like it was chewed on and a orange crayon got stuck to it.

Can't say this sways me to buy it even more or not at all. Just wish they would've put more effort into that Galvatron and update the color of Unicron himself. Still in to support it.

Oh boy. Saying anything remotely negative about the animated movie is, quite literally, a cardinal sin in this fandom. Quite honestly, the only good thing about that movie was Unicron and Orson Welles’ fantastic voice acting.

Again, if these reveals pushed you over, great. I personally don't think there a $600 decision maker, but if it helps the goal of 8000 ... :thumb

G1 Box would push it to the stratosphere. You could have a slip cover that is \"War for Cybertron\", so essentially you\'d have 2 boxes, and you\'d pick what you wanted to see.
