My first third-party purchase was the Shadow Commander set. My first full figure was MMC Hexatron. Unfortunately, I no longer have either one. Sold Shadow Commander when I decided to move on to MP's. Upgraded Hexatron to DX9 Hanzo for the same reason.

Wow, cool to see how some of you started later. Enjoy the journey...and don't get in trouble with the significant other :p  Darn you MMC for coming up with the Remix Autobot tapes. Guess I will hang in there a tad bit longer ;)

MMC Tyrantron. The fourth Transformer I ever bought and bam, hooked. Hastak was only a gateway drug.

Well not quite. BW MPs, Siege and the old Takara shinies before the brand unification are great. But 3p is where it’s at as far as I’m concerned.

Shadow Commander was good. I had it briefly but unfortunately it fit my Classics Nemesis badly for some reason so I passed it on.

City Commander armor. Still using it as my CHUG Ultra Magnus, although I also have the Legends version on my IDW Autobots shelf.

First exposure to 3rd Party bots was FP's stuff, especially City Commander and Protector upgrades. First ever purchase was C9 Quakeblast. With my MP S1/S2/Movie collection almost finished, he's still a favorite too!

Maketoys Vulcan was my first 3P figure, and then Weijiang's M01-Commander.
I got into Transformers again in 2017, right on a Golden Age apparently. UT Peru Kill was the start of really collecting lines of 3P

My very first 3P is also my very first Legends (legends - more exactly): Maverick from NewAge. A first slap for me who was no longer into Transformers. It was late June 2019 ^ _ ^

My first 3P figure was a Bullsfire Air Strike (their only release). I got it because it was on deep Christmas clearance at the time. I thought it was not bad so it opened the door to me ordering Fans Toys Sovereign next. Once I got Sovereign, I was completely hooked on 3P stuff and the floodgate opened.

Air Strike is currently a stand-in for FT's Swoop as I never got around to getting it. I think it looks fine with the rest of the FT Dinobots on a shelf so I'm probably not going to track down an FT version of it.

MMC Shadow Hexatron was my first. Now I mainly buy 3p because TT stuff has jumped significantly in price (looking at you $140 car bots and $400+ Optimus) Even retail stuff is a nightmare to find.

Unless MPP10 counts (more of a KO) then my first was Fanstoys Hoodlum. I don't care what the haters say, I think he's a pretty cool toy. I'm actually rather new to collecting 3P. Though I have had a small CHUG and MP/MP KO collection for a few years. The 3rd party stuff always seemed way to expensive to me. How times have changed. 20190827_113133.jpg

Cloud 9 QuakeBlast. Never looked back. Having always been a Issue #5 nerd, and QuakeBlast having stepped right out of the cover,
he is still one of, if not my favorite MP.
