Mine locked up within a few hours. I ordered shock oil for it, otherwise I'll transplant a polycap joint that I have.

or i could go the kumastyle fix and just pin it through, hmm. lets try the oil first though.

what exactly does this mean? I initially thought it was that the peg was a halfpipe, but now that I have her (and disassembled feet, so seizure yet) that isn't the case. Is the peg only attached of one of the leg-molded sides? And should I try to pop out the ball socket to shave it down a bit? I prefer to prevent chaos before it strikes.

EDIT: NEVERMIND. Ordering those lego bits

EDIT 2: So plus side. Only one leg of Echara broke, so 3/4 survivors is good. I shaved all three down, but a little too much on the surviving Echara foot. I'm betting I could use the lego pieces I own already because foot tilting was never a necessity in my book. I'll let you guys know how it goes

Well damn! Was looking forward to these ladies and just like my fellow members Echara's feet have both sheared right off during transformation!!!!!! I have other Dino's and this is wild! Afraid to even take Comera out of the package!

Update: Echara has Comera parts. :(  She has the lighter gray feet and the middle neck panel on right side is light gray as well... :cry

guys, no need to joint transplant or sand if your joints are not broken, just use shock oil
i got it for $6 shipped off amazon and now mine stands up great and has solid ankles, and it does not feel stiff at all. Tj duckett spoke about that on his review for him, so credit and a pelvic thrust to him.

    AS promised, an update.

So I decided to just buy a new Mixels' set on Ebay considering it was cheaper than grabbing them from the links posted before AND I got additional joints in case I messed up the cutting. (also made a tsuchinoko with the leftover pieces. Otherwise known as the Japanese lore creature Dunsparce is based on)

Anyway, Echara is now fixed, albeit has a slight lean, but it gives her a little more personality imo.

BTW, am I just being dumb, or is there no way for Echara to look straight forward because of her ponytails?
I personally like it the way it is.

Is Shock oil - silicon based - as some oils are dangerous to use on plastics.
I wondered if Remote Control car Lubricant might be OK to use on the ankles.

Is the stem of the post accessable in a way that it could be built up or protected in some way if it is only half attached - or is it simply a case of a dab of glue attaching it both sides as they simply forgot to glue it when making it ?

I do like FP Dino's so I would like to get the girls but I would be mortified to have them snap on me as so many others are experiencing.

Perhaps someone needs to make a replacement part - perhaps even a diecast metal joint ? (good die cast not rubbish Diecast like you get in some toys that crumbles)

What I did was disassemble the foot, and because I couldn't get the ball socket off used a sharp objects to get glue around where the ball stick connects. From there I used Tamiya ceramic RC car grease to loosen the joint.

Very sad for you to hear this ,I'd want to buy this fembot anyway, only ankles in your opinion are weak in robot mode not the hips?I'm thinking that if I keep her in robot mode always on a shelf maybe breakages could be avoided but if it happen anyway I'll try to repay her.
Then hope that scales arent' too sharp at touch, in this case I'll keep her inside a glass and for me Comera is also more beautiful than blue fembot.

As long as you're not manhandling her, all other joints are good and sturdy. I forget how sharp the claws are, don't think they're that sharp, but if memory serves, the dino teeth are pretty sharp.

My girls arrived yesterday. £100 delivered from the TFsource eBay store for both. Only taken Echara out the box so far.
Checked the ankles, one was fine, the other wouldn’t move at all. So i took the foot off and dropped a little bit of lubricant in the small slit at the bottom, left it a minute or so and tried again, it’s now nice and smooth.
Really pleased with her so far

So once again I am on the fence with these two Dino girls and the ankle joints scare me to pull the trigger...are the ball joints really that weak to use, foot to tight and will shock oil really help out?

The ball joints aren’t so much weak, but after some time they will completely lock in a single position and won’t be able to move. I can’t vouch for shock oil but completely replacing the joint with something better is pretty easy.

I hit both of the ball joints with shock oil and her ankles have worked smoothly since.

    So curious.

Ebay seller has a Comera with the infamous broken ankle.

She's gotten quite hard to find but some places still have Echara in stock.

Could the piece be swapped out/repaired with a leg from spare Echara?

swapping should be relatively easy, the lower leg is the same.
you unscrew and split the foot and shin, swap the shin piece that has the ball joint and socket, and close everything up again.
