I was trying to figure out what to do with the Dr Wu swords for the Chromia kit. I liked the guns, but don't see Chromia with twin swords. So now I have a use for them with new Nightbird.

 

You just sold me on that Dr. Wu kit. I love that Nightbird figure, but feel she's lacking appropriate weaponry. I can see her rocking those swords though. Hopefully a 3rd Party will give use some sai or nunchaku (or preferably both).

 

I could see Dr. Wu giving us a Ninja set that has a long bo staff, some nunchacku, a sai, and a sword that can plug into each other to make other weapons with the bo staff

 

There are so many 3rd party companies, i have feeling 1 will. Between renderform, deep space arsenal, dr wu, etc...someone will give us her ninja weapons. But until then, chromias swords are now nightbirds.

Does anyone know when Pulse typically restocks? I'm supposed to be getting an Ectotron replacement, the one I had's rubber pieces were tearing, and would like to know if there's a set day or if it's just whenever they get the stuff

 

If they don't have it in stock and are waiting for a new shipment, 4 to 6 months. That's how long it took my Combat Megatron to show up.

 

Oh okay. That's quite a bit longer than I thought but they've been out of stock for a while so hopefully it'll be sooner than that

 

Hopefully it won't be too much longer for you. Go ahead and send a message to them asking for an update. I did that four times and after the first time they started being more specific about what was going on in each response. Then of course they shipped it to the wrong address but who knows what went wrong there.

They did. I got my replacement Combat Megatron and he's great. It may take them a bit but they deliver.

 

Sharing an experience I had just so that you don't get your hopes up falsely. Last year when Pukse was still HTS, I had to get a replacement, and contacted them when I saw that the item was in stock but I hadn't recieved anything. The CS rep told me that the replacement stock not necesarily was the same as the for purchase stock, since they were handled by different departments. They only thing that theey promised was thst I would get it before 90 days, which they did.

Maybe with the change to Pulse it has changed for the better, but that was my experience.

 

From my experience and what I've heard Pulse is way better than HTS in general so lets hope that goes for customer service too

Seriously...was someone using 20+ year tickle-me-Elmo sales numbers to try and justify this project?

 

I remember it being up to a few hundred. A bunch of people probably cancelled at the end. But yeah, this one seemed doomed to failure from the beginning.

 

Maybe if it was 50 bucks, it would have more than 63 backers.
