I ordered the X Knight version of the MADLAW figure...hoping it will be a decent stand in for my Wreckers Trainees as he, Breacher, Strongarm, and Bulkhead are seen being trained by Springer. Just afraid he will be too big. What is his sizing scale? I have seen it be almost as big if not beigger than CW Prime...so is he pre-siege Voyager? Leader?

 

He's slightly taller than Voyager, but not quite old Ultra Class. A taller Voyager, if you will. I'll snap a pic in a sec.

How are the 1/100 toys? I know Toynami got flak for their Robotech Masterpiece toys being garbo way back when.

 

Seeing as how my Hightower is still in pre-order status (even though my single Dropkick dropped), I'm tempted to cancel the individual pre-order and Dropkick and get the in stock 3 pack with Dropkick and Copter Drift. I've heard good things about Drift.

 

From what I read they are still junk, but the box is awesome.

If it's the same as the ones they put out last year with the little pilot figures, they're not super high quality, but they are fun. Some panel lining really makes them pop!

What they said, only I won't bother with preordering a two pack, I'll find Mixmaster elsewhere. I don't get it, they used to have at least some preorders of the popular bots?

 

Mixmaster is up on Amazon, Megatron on Pulse. Boom. Mix would have free shipping no matter what, so cheaper.

 

And heres the real kicker.....unless I just missed it earlier when I pre ordered, or they're in the process of updating it, I looked on BBTS again just out of curiosity, out the 4 new Studio Series figures announced today, every one of them EXCEPT Mixmaster you can buy separately.....yet with the combiner gimmick you think more people would order a Mixmaster separately? <_< You still can't order a Longhaul separately either from BBTS.

 

The PoL time limit is coming up on me again. Had some preorder for July that haven't come in and was hoping to at least get them in before having to ship my loot.

This one came with Cab and Minerva and had chrome on it. I was mad about ordering the two separately and just before the better version was released, but this was cheap enough that I bit. I'll just own two versions. One to display combined, and one to display the two bots separately.

 

Looks like I'm going to be moving, so I had to cancel some preorders. Decided to just ship what I had in my Loot and estimated tax comes to $97.50. Not complaining since they have to charge it and I think I heard they don't charge as the items come in since they haven't actually sold them yet, but it'd be nice if they had a preview feature were you could see the estimated tax for your current PoL. Good thing is my PoL should keep me busy while I'm saving for the move.
