Seems like a new bruticus is coming to legends scale

I'm seeing a lot of Iron Factory War Giant in this but with a lot of original parts like in the combiner feet and back cannons. Not sure what's the point though...the PT KO is good enough and this doesn't fill any niche like cartoon accuracy or some other scale.

 

Yeah I didn't see much new about it either, though it was interesting that they'd bother though?

 

Yeah this cool, but why Bruticus? There are other combiners that need updates. And no, not another Devastator either. Time for some Autobot combiners in this scale

 

I'd laugh and cry at the same time if that new Bruticus beats MS Menasor in releasing

The single bots in blackant's seems to be missing wrist swivels though.

 

Might not be OS... I took a ruler to my PT KO War Giant and it was around 225mm too, from feet to head.

 

I had only heard it was OS, thanks for the info. If that's the case then I honestly don't even know why when PT would be the superior, readily available, choice.

 

Yeah dissapointed to see another bruticus. We need superion!!

 

Lost faith in the MST Menasor.

Need a Superion or Defensor legend combiner, already own Bruticus.

 

Definitely one of these. Maybe once IF has wrapped up the DJD combiner they can start on one.

 

Never understood why they did the DJD combiner. The DJD on itself has already enough appeal. Was this to distinguise them from MMC? Hope next year they do a combiner that was in IDW...Monstructor...hint hint hint

 

I think its IF just /flex'ing how amazing their engineers are.

 

They had me at the DJD without combine feature, TM2 Megatron and Maximus Ambus.

 

The beauty is that the combination doesn't seem to diminish the quality and articulation of the individual bots at all.

Tesarus and Helix do the most combining, and they still look great on their own.

Kaon has the extra gun mode, but his robot and chair modes still look perfect.

Tarn just folds up into a cube, so he doesn't really do anything extra to combine, he's just a legends scale Tarn. I think this was the most brilliant move on their part. A lot of people will just want Tarn and not the rest, so they can get Tarn and be completely satisfied, not feel like they're missing out on the larger bot with a bunch of kibble or joints that don't get used.

And of course Vos is just himself, robot and gun.

 

I would be all over an IF Monstructor. I'd like them to do an autobot combiner like Computron or Defensor first though

 

Yep, skipping this. Already have the pocket toys version and absolutely love it. No need for another KO from a company I've never heard of. Pocket Toys needs to do some repaints with the mold though

 

why are you guys calling this a KO of Iron Factory? even though some of the aesthetic may be kinda similar, I don't think I see a single part that's the same between the two versions (correct me if I'm wrong though!)...?
