OH MY GOD THIS.

I was super psyched to get ROTF Mindwipe and he is one of the most disappointing figures in all of ROTF because of those dumbass knives. I had to pick him out of the display to check the feet though, since somehow I never even noticed how awkward those tabs on the feet are as I never had a problem standing him up (unlike Fallen, whose name was far too literal for his own good to the point literally swapping the feet improved him immensely). I never did find is little Scout class helper buddy, either, which just made it even further disappointing.

 

Just thinking forward.... SS doesn't have much left that even hardcore Bay fans care about, so Hasbro will have no choice but to start getting creative with this line. So I was just brainstorming about what could be. Especially considering how many Shockwave's have been released the last 3 or 4 years, yet they're still releasing this one.

Between him and about 4 Sky Stalker minions (I think one was slightly repainted and named Laserbeak in a following movie wave) that could be ported on top of Mindwipe's plane mode like the Cobra Raven, it's one of the few movie-verse figures that still gets recognition in "MY COLLECTION". Granted I currently re-purpose him as Lost Light's Sunder.

That Mindwipe wasn't perfect (what is?) but don't care who's not a fan of it. I'm only giving info on one the very few stand out characters that I would buy if released in this SS line with some upgrades in quality.

 

There are a million Bumblebee Movie characters they will make. Also, Dinobots.

 

It's relevant in the sense that if they'll release Bayformers Shockwave then they "might" remake a Movie based character in SS that I would actually buy. And if they don't, oh well... The SS line will continue being irrelevant to me as it has been. No big deal.

 

Which is why I mentioned several times that it's not that big of a deal either way. Moving on now.

I know how I'm displaying my Shockwave. Parachutist on the floor being stepped on having missed Shockwave during his decent!

 

Mine will be caught by shockwave. Gun arm pointed at the nameless redshirt ready to rip him apart molecule by molecule.

 

I'm not the type of person to scream "Yeah, this definitely needs a KO" but wow, that Shockwave. Imagine what the likes of BMB or WeiJiang will do with that mold. We'll be getting as close to a transformable MPM Shockwave as we'll probably ever get. If they decide to do so of course  

 

The main reason I was originally waiting for this figure to happen was for an MPM scaled KO to happen afterwards. Still getting this Shockwave but once a OS KO is released (if it actually happens) I’m selling it lol. Just imagine this Shockwave but 13 inches tall and with a light up eye.

 

Ive preordered shockwave megatron scavenger and zetar on bbts. Ill preorder mixmaster whrn hes on his own.

These bots look incredible. We are getting closer to completing devy. Cant wait

 

That Scavenger wheel/tread transformation is going to be made or broken on how he actually pulls it off in hand, but I like the idea that it could be used to stand him solely on the bottom wheel. Maybe that one's fixed and the top one rolls? Impressed by the ambition of it either way.

Gotta love the irony in having an '07 Megs where the key complaint is that the robot looks like a folded up version of the jet, but mainly I'm reveling in how Mixmaster's design makes him look like a chest-thumping little imp excitedly piloting a mechsuit:
