Just got my set and these things are trash. Not one of them can stand up without falling over, parts are popping off left and right or were already off in packaging and parts were bent becasuse they were smashed into the plastic shell they came in. I am contacting TF-Direct for a refund or replacement. Let me know if any of you have the same problems, it may just be my set.

Please post how you get on with this. I’m waiting for mine from TFD, hopefully no issues, but if so, want to see what the feedback is.

I just sent the below message to TF.
"I received this set about 30 minutes and have had so many problems. None of the figures can stand upright without being slumped over, Grimlocks front chest will not go together at all, and snarls back plates are deformed due to packaging. I will keep messing with them and try to transform all of them over the weekend, but it looks like i will be requesting a refund for this set. I have reached out to other people to see if they are having the same issues or if it's just my set."

This is the only way i can get Grimlock to stand without assistants. 20190823_162227.jpg

wow, thats pretty bad. on mine the only real issue is the two static plates at the top of snarls back are mildly warped but nowhere near as bad as yours are

    Whattya think?

(minor) modifications: faction stickers, a touch of red paint in the crotch area, chrome paint pen on the frill, and thighs swapped with Sludge. (Technically, the whole leg below the thigh rotation was swapped, and the dino leg and tail parts were swapped back - thanks to some odd fit issues coming from KO Slag & Sludge's shared leg parts not being 100% identical.

Just got this set in yesterday. I love it! I added repro labels to some of mine today and will be printing out some oversized G1 style guns for them.

Fun thing I discovered - if you have the "Throne of the Primes" POTP Optimus Primal toy, the OSKO Dinobots can hold the big sceptre/club - just slide it in a bit beyond the club's official peg handle.

Got my set from Show.Z yesterday. Here are some size comparisons with BMB and PotP versions of each character compared to an assortment of other figures.
(The Primes are MP10-V and Siege OP)

    DSC_0006.jpg DSC_0008.jpg DSC_0009.jpg DSC_0007.jpg DSC_0010.jpg

(One detail I appreciate is Snarl's giant shoulder pads being silver instead of gold like the original, it makes the gold fins pop and helps hide the screws.)

I think BMB Grimlock is too big towering over the other Dinobots, while PotP Grimlock is just slightly taller. So I'm going to display mine with PotP Grimlock so they're all roughly the same size, like they are in the cartoon.

Overall I'm happy with this set. The quality isn't as good as the Hasbros, but for the price it's a good value. There's not as much paint, there are a few small QC issues, and the loss of the clear plastic hurts them IMO.

Although they're still a bit too small, if you want close-to-in-scale Dinobots at a reasonable price, these are the obvious choice, and they work even better with the smaller Siege scale. Recommended.

I'd forgotten i'd preordered this set with a local toy dealer, but the price was right so I picked it up.

The best word to describe it as is "underwhelming". Enough has been said about how loopy the combined form is on the original toy (I still don't understand how it ever got past the design phase...), but I was disappointed that this set only included one set of dino hands, so you can't even use a second set to flesh out the chest as you could with the original Hasbro combiner.

The decision to paint the transparent parts a smooth gold also gives it a weird aesthetic, more like dollar-store toy than anything else. It's a shame that all the gorgeous detail underneath is masked.

I could overlook all of that though, but it's the size that's a real disappointment. I PO'ed originally thinking it was going to be on par with POTP Predaking or Devastator, but it's not even close. The figures are only marginally larger than the original Hasbro ones, which makes the whole thing seem redundant. If I had spent more money i'd be pissed, but as it is, i've reboxed it and will probably sell it off eventually.

It looks like my wish of a Dinobot combiner that can go toe-to-toe with Predaking will remain unfulfilled for the foreseeable future (and yeah, I know about Gcreation and Toyworld, but the vac-metal doesn't really match up well with Hasbro's stuff).

    got mine the other day.

will get TDW and PE sets. also 1:1 KO POTP Dinobots. will do mix and match; good thing the combiner ports are of the same sizes.

my MMC Predaking will be paired either with MMC SkyLynx, or with a SIEGE SkyLynx.

Uber Volcanicus will be paired with SELECT Piranacon.
