I like how Shockwave comes with a paratrooper. Other figures should have soldiers included as well because they did fight alongside the Autobots for many movies. It shouldn't increase the price as it wouldn't take too much to make them. I think having soldiers included with the figures would be great!

the “early prototype” was just a mockup aside from Long Haul, Rampage and Scrapmetal so it doesn’t represent the final figures in any form. It’s just astounding to me that these even combine given how fantastic they are on their own.

I had the exact same problem with mine where the hood couldn't fold down completely. The problem with my copy was that the pin that holds the roof of the hood and the hinge was a bit too long, by a couple of millimeters. It was blocking the entire segment from folding down. I had to cut the excess pin off using nippers and problem solved. Maybe you should check that.

Edit: Took a pic of the pin for reference.

Haven't had a ton of time to mess around with him, but Jazz is pretty nice. Few little nitpicks, but overall he's solid. Both modes look really sharp for sure. I'll try and take some more pictures later.

Idk man I’m not sure if third party scrotums are trustworthy

What nitpicks do you have if you don’t mind sharing? I’m really torn whether I should still get him or not

So far it's mostly the waist. It doesn't peg in super tight (though I didn't really use the instructions so I could totally be missing a step) but it feels a bit loose because of the spine gimmick. The lower arms are also a bit finicky to get right. And the head on mine is a bit loose.

Could come as an exclusive with Ironhide in reference to the only toy he has, Robot Heroes:
    upload_2019-8-24_21-23-34.jpeg
In a Voyager priced set with a ROTF retool of Bumblebee, though only the important guys like Ejector, Dick-bot, etc.
Not sure how else we’re getting him, but I’m counting on a Barricade *retool* like Interrogator Barricade with Frenzy instead of the spiky wheel.

With ROTF Soundwave, who with this many figures could turn out two ways:
    1. Voyager-priced if a small DOTM SW sized Deluxe
    2. Leader-priced if an Ironhide-Brawl sized Voyager
Counting on Sideways to carry her like Frenzy and Barricade. Though given the film, the same ROTF Bumblebee retool from the appliance-bot set is more likely.

Unlikely but I’m hoping for a Lockdown redo down the line like SS-05/32. With a smaller, scale-accurate car, less kibbly backpack, and this and a face-gun instead of his other weapons!

I guess with SS Daytrader? Or SS Canopy? What’d he turn into though?

With accurate SS Nitro retool (Shockwave head) or SS Onslaught. If not, a TLK Megatron redo at a Leader price and premium paint.

Man, I’ve never been one to want those obscure/random movie bots, buuut if we got Reedman that’d be so damn awesome. Such a unique ability and design; so microscopically thin you can’t see it slice through you

And it is no coincidence that Hasbro, only in the end will reveal, the two Constructicons on which we are most curious to see the final project in the major classes... (since they were produced only as legend class...) bastard, when do you still want to keep us on the "burning coals"?

In spirit of trying to theorize how the next portions of devastator will turn out, I’ve done a concept drawing of how I imagine Overload will work best in robot mode.
I tried to ensure that the vehicle parts are still feasible to convert as well as keeping the devastator thigh components mostly hidden. I think it looks very good

The fact that Scavenger seems pretty uncompromised for Devastator probably leaves most of the heavy lifting (figuratively and literally) to Overload. Since he was never seen on screen they probably have some leeway (like they did with Scrapmetal) in adhering to concept art, but I imagine he'll have to be at least somewhat of a mess. Unless of course Hasbro's wizardry truly knows no bounds.

so are these bits not going to be on the final product?
    7d84dc6egy1g0lx7nnfmlj217g0u04qt.jpg
the constructicons ratchets/ combined form seemingly take up the accesory budget and overload seems to take up a signicant part of the torso so i'm not sure they could throw them in with him

it''s no deal breaker but they're cool

I’m still curious how Mixmaster could possibly fit Devastator’s head into his Mack Truck cabin. If not, where would the piece to form his face come from?

I think the front cabin of Mixmaster's truck mode has Devastator's head folded up inside, or least the top part of combiner's head.

    red is face/ upper jaw

    green is lower jaw

blue is the joint the mixer shells are connected to since the green can be mistaken for it

Better look at Mixmaster here. If that’s indeed a folded-up face he’s carrying, it’ll make the egregiousness of his back pretty worthwhile. B829AD52-2EA3-496E-95B0-CEE37EF761AF.jpeg
