At a stretch, you could call them five-changers if arm and leg modes count separately.

I think most people just call them Targetmasters and the triple part is assumed therein.

The molds to make them (or at least get started on them) are already there.

It'd take a bit of rejiggering with the molds, but not much. For Godbomber, the goal would be to use a similar design philosophy. The core robot would be roughly the size of Godbomber if you removed the lower legs at the CW port and took the armor off his bot arms.

So picture a roughly voyager sized vehicle that turns into a robot. The feet fold away to reveal the ports that hold Ceasar's legs, and the arms are bulked up with armor built from parts that come with the three components.

Once you've done that...repaints could include the Motivators.

I like the way you're thinking! I could totally get behind that. If they do go that route, I hope they fix the jazz mold issues...

I'd buy it , hopefully, they'd be a substantial amount of retooling ... But I like the concept.

IMHO, Takara needs to use the HM Legends molds to replace Road Caesar members. Not really in favor of using the CW Jazz limbs.
Somehow they have to incorporate the combining aspect with a heavy retools/ and a new torso for Blacker.

With these bots if better going for preorders for saving money,I highly fear that they could meet Brake-Neck and Slinghshot fate.

If they don't end up giving Road Caesar new molds, then retooling the Jazz mold would be fine.

I'm pretty sure a mode has to be standalone to actually count, so a limb mode might not count.

As a sidenote, the Hasbro Pulase listings for the figures has a pre-order cutoff date. What if you miss that date due to circumstances or other reasons? Does it become impossible to get the figures later on?

After the cut off you can’t preorder from pulse, they might have leftover stock after release but I wouldn’t bank on it.

Would ordering from a third party dealer like BBTS or A3U after the pre-order cutoff affect the price you pay them versus ordering from them before? In my case, I can't (pre-)order from Pulse anyway, and circumstances prohibit me from purchasing anything before the cutoff, so even if I do get the figures, it'll have to be through a third party dealer.

Shouldn’t really affect the price too much. Hasbro only uses a cut off so they know how many to order from Takara

Can't tell for sure if they're detachable, but I'd say it's likely.
They're in different places in robot mode vs. the other two modes. It looks like in turtle mode they plug in to the legs at the same place as they have the combined mode feet in robot mode. As the shell/shield looks like it plugs in to two places on the back, I think it's most likely the cannons would plug there in robot mode.

Edit: Hm. Might have to take that back, looking at the turtle mode again it does look like there's a piece that might act as a swivel to allow the guns to swing to the other side.
