This SS ‘07 Megatron honestly isnt that great... the legs are too bulky, head is mishaped (same as ROTF sculpt?).... and that chest reuse....... was rlly looking forward to an awesome SS ‘07 Megs w/ Frenzy packed in since this was the last remaining ‘07 cast member left. This toy honestly does not look like his movie 3d model.

Curious to see how aa 3p company could make improvement parts/kits for this... or a downscaled MPM Megs.

Out of curiosity... how much bigger is MPM Megs compared to say SS Blackout and Starscream?

Not to be that guy, but SS 07 Megatron actually has the correct head sculpt. It should look like ROTF Megs head, as that head just has armor added to the side of it. The render you added is a very early one. If you look at screenshots from the film, the SS 07 head is more accurate than the MPM

It looks like Scavenger's treads become/are part of the bottom wheel. That's just some really neat engineering.

I've always like how the treads could actually transform into the wheels on the original Voyager, but this is equally impressive imo.

I think Mixmaster was the one that felt he would inevitably have some compromises. Considering the fact that the only recognizable piece of Mixmaster within ROTF Devastator is his rear wheels. The other Constructicons maintained their color and easily noticeable parts while Mixmaster basically went from a grey cement mixer to a silver and red face/neck

Man, we got completely shafted at SDCC just so they could focus on crap from WFC, let us have our moment.

Is it me or does Shockwave's cannon seems to be removeable? The way it's angled seems to give off the impression that you can take it off and have him have a normal arm mode like how the original DOTM Shockwave figure did it.

I was comparing the new SS Megs to the actual movie but while doing that I think you actually have a good option for the missing SS48 Lazerwave. If its not the DOTM Megs redeco for Universal, I would place my money on a Barricade rerelease with a new Frenzy. My guess is an online exclusive for $25 and it would include a new poseable Frenzy. The reason being is that the reveals we have gotten finish off TF1 (we got an 07 Camaro Bee and 07 Megs upcoming) but we are still missing a Frenzy. The original 07 Barricade came with a little Frenzy so it would make sense to make that the SS48 using the Air Force One meetup scene would be a Barricade/Frenzy pack

Why does Scavenger have the robot form of Demolishor?

Seeing Mixmaster, it looks like he has a Mack Truck backpack. I think this is to hide the Devastator head.

So is Shockwave actually the same size as Voyager Megatron? Was anyone there and able to see with their eyes? Is he one of those Leaders that's only a leader due to the add ons and is actually a Voyager??

My only complaint with any of these are Megatrons legs, otherwise, everything looks great.

they’re all such a massive improvement over the originals it’s crazy.
