I’m excited for season 2 of this show! The first season help set the foundation and help set the scene for the second series. I look forward to seeing Cheetor, Jetfire and Skybyte, since it’s been a while since they’ve appeared in a TV show.

I look forward to seeing more Shockwave (he was a pretty good villain in the first season) and seeing more of the rivalry between Megatron, and Optimus Prime.

I also hope to see more appearances of characters like Drift and Chromia; characters who have made a significant impact in the comics but not much in the TV.

Maybe we’ll be lucky enough to see characters that made a cameo appearance in the last season reappear in the next season, like Prowl and Arcee?

Here’s hoping the rest of the world don’t have to wait too long to watch the show.

I hope that we'll get around seeing the BW cast as well as the other non G1 characters show up. As much as I get why Cyberverse is hyper G1,it cant rely on that for the rest of it's run. It's why I appreciate the new things that it did give us so far such as Shadow Striker being a main character for a change,Grimlock being smarter this time around despite only in robot mode, and the fact that it's willing to explore more of cybertron's culture and colonies form time to time. More so then even Animated. If it keeps it up and builds on them I'll be content with the show being hyper G1 if it also brings in new things as well as give non G1 favorites a much needed comeback.

3:15 pm but I wondee how long it\'ll be before CN shoves it to 6 am?  No advertising the premier either which I guess is no surprise.  I feel this is more for the adult G1 fans so I\'m surprised they picked CN.

Just checked my local listings for tomorrow and didn't find it on cartoon network. Is it only airing in France?

I mean, you are literally complaining about the thing you are doing. On a message board meant to share opinions no less.

I wasn’t “offended” by your original post but I wasn’t surprised when you got pushback. Don’t know why you’d be surprised by that though.

    Back on topic:

    1. It would be fun if more Beast Wars characters were introduced as other “lost sages” of Cybertron. I like how Primal has that role in the Machinema series and how Cheetor has that role here.

    2. Don’t worry about CN schedules, just watch this on Hasbro’s YouTube channel.

I’m having a blast with this show. It has a enough “depth” to be fun. The plots are quick and breezy. And there’s just enough flashbacks, backstory to keep you interested but not overwhelmed.

My only wish was that Hasbro would give us three mini seasons through the year instead of just one. Netflix style. But it makes more since marketing-wise to do it this way. We’re here to buy toys after all.

Hey man I get being frustrated with Cyberverse's trend on making everything G1 and keeping a lot of the status quo up as before but it's also making the effort to give us comebacks of the non G1 era cast such as BW when they could've just passed up on them but they didn't. It's the same series that also gave Shadow Striker of all characters a chance to shine so it's doing some new things even if it's not much for now. Again I get not being a fan of Cyberverse but still I do give it credit where it's due in that department and if Cyberverse is the series that's making a major step into making more non G1 stuff more mainstream in the long run shouldn't we take the chance to make it happen when we still have the chance?

Please tell me this is a parody post and you're not genuinely emotionaly affected that someone on a discussion forum disagreed with your opinion.

Ordinarily, I would at least somewhat agree with you about G1-heavy reboots (as I've stated a few times myself in the past on the subject) but with Cyberverse, in execution, I don't think it's the status quo at all really. Especially as they managed to go an entire 18 episode season without a human sidekick (kid or adult) to eat up valuable runtime (has to be a first and I'm all the happier for it). Instead, we got character specific one-shot episodes, background world building etc.

I'm sure we'll get saddled with some kid sidekick at some point but right now, I'm just enjoying a thoroughly TF-centric series. It's G1 in roster composition but it's not really G1 beyond that. And given how many pods there are (Boulder made it a point to show there are a ton of bots on the Ark) there's room to bring in later bots from other series.

I'm convinced Hasbro put it on CN to rope in passerby viewers/general audiences but they consider the YT channel their "main". Given how Hasbro has tried as often as they have the past few years to circumvent CN, I think Hasbro's at the point where they'd really rather not deal with them at all, hence Machinima, their old Hub channel and now Netflix and YT.

I wish this to be utterly successful if it means keeping Hasbro in the driver's seat and not having death's scythe hanging over the series head all the time. CN is responsible for at least two shows getting axed prematurely now (Prime and Animated) and iirc some of the prior shows as well.

I honestly was worried about the shortened episodes but they've actually managed to make it work for me, occasional pacing issues aside. I thought that the stories would be simplified to the point of boredom but the shorter runtime has kept them focused.

I still want more dynamic fight scenes but that's my only real gripe.

Speaking of, when is that Netflix TF series due out?

Agreed on all your points. I would just repeat that I was also worried that the shorter length episodes would be a problem but it’s been the opposite. They’re very focused and enjoyable. You move through the plot quickly and don’t have time filler padding things out. It’s refreshing.

I’m not sure when the Netflix show starts :-/

You’re acting as if people had a freak attack over your post. Trust me they did not, the least they did was laugh at your post.
This is a literal kid show and it was obviously not made for older fans just because of the design choices and deep lore. It’s a literal kids cartoon.

It will be out sometime in 2020. Nobody knows when exactly and they have been extremely silent on the cartoon for some reason.

When it says 3:45pm in France, does that take the timezone into account?

Genuine question; will this be in English or French? Does Cyberverse even have a French dub? I remember the old Hero Factory episodes came out in German before their English releases, so I dunno.

Well that's a shame. To be expected though.

Thought maybe they'd have just done it in subtitles, but it is a kids show.
