Holy shit these look amazing. I’m kind of confused as to what that human that’s with Shockwave is supposed to be doing though.

 

Hm, that Jazz is definitely a good figure. But imo good is not enough for a masterpiece figure. They should be outstanding, but with the exception of Barricade they're "only good". Why leave room for improvement and save developing money on toys fans are WILLING to pay endless amounts of money on?

I bet none of you masterpiece collectors would mind paying 200 or more if Optimus looked more like that 3rd party improvement of his.
Don't get me started on Ironhide  

In the SS line for example most people can accept that there are budget limitations

What do you think? Are you happy with cheaper good masterpiece figures or would you prefer amazing / perfect looking masterpiece figures for a little more money?

To me, they are too pricey for "just good enough". I'd like them to blow me away. Maybe then I'd buy some

So, who is even left for the Leader Class size now? Overload is getting one, of course.

I'm still firm that Sentinel Prime needs to be a Leader. The parts count will be significant. They could always throw in some of the pillars if needed.

That leaves potentially some of the Dinobots (Scorn for sure, maybe Slug) and then... I guess Devcon? Maybe Infernocus?

If we get a Leader Class Devcon then this is cemented as the greatest line in Transformers history.

Most likely Scorn or Slug for Leader class, but Sentinel definitely makes sense as well.

Guess my little purchase was overshadowed, haven't checked out the reveal just yet but super hyped to finally see it.

I figured getting the hand next to a relevant leader class would at least be a good size comparison. And also he can hold a voyager figure without any issues or extra support.
