I was holding off for Brunt, im a big fan of his cuboid box man styles, but the colors and 80's robot face on Zetar are just total gold. Im a little sad that the drill doesn't actually transform into place, but if anything having it on a peg means 1. you can give some other bots a crazy drill gun of sorts, and 2. Zetar can wear all the silly hats he desires, hell throw a blast effect on there and have his head exploding -shrug-. Here's to hoping we get some way to order him here in Canada.

On a side note, i know its mainly a marketing thing, but does it rub anyone else the wrong way how Hasbro makes dedicated teams so split up? If you want the rest of the power dashers, you're also going to be stuck with a clear mirage and an Impactor, and who knows what kind of pack Cromar will come in. Same deal with Skywarp, the phantom strike squadron is a neat idea, but i don't want to pay for three battlemasters just to finish off my core seeker trio. I dont think its ever going to be as bad as "Sticking the other legends size Autobot clone in a $200 box set" but its still kinda frustrating.

 

As someone who missed out the first time, I'm guessing it'll be cheaper to grab this version than that one. Maybe Hasbro is going to counter with some more blade-based battlemasters in general.

There are people out there who, if you reach out *now* will gladly take whatever figures out of the three pack you don't want.

Heck, I've got the retail Impactor on preorder but if someone is selling the one out of the three pack I may be game.

I'm on the fence with the Powerdashers. Great piece, but small, of nostalgia.

I'd totally buy them as a "oh, why not?" purchase if they came as a set. But I don't have enough to buy the Amazon set with Impactor and Mirage and then try to offload them.

 

I'm ready for nightbird preorders.

 

Zetar looks pretty cool. dig the drill piece, that should be pretty versatile

Not touching nightbird though. that mold is pathetic and I regret buying all the different versions of it that I already have.

 

love the Zetar powerdasher...totally evokes that G1 feel (in bot mode moreso than drill)

Heck, I'd consider getting Nightbird since I missed out the LG one if I could pop off or unscrew some of the car kibble, but they're pinned in.

I have no connection to the Powerdashers, I actually just found out this dude's name is Zetar. I just love that Brunt mold, the targetmaster deluxe molds actually, but I think if I don't get this guy I won't get the rest of the Siege ones but wouldn't mind doing some sort of custom of them (probably using CW/POTP figures as base cause I like that idea of them combining).

I missed out on the Legends one, really regret that, but I don't think I'm gonna get this one even though I really want it. I just don't like Siege enough to get external figures beyond the Titan's buddies. I would love to have gotten a combining version (cause more Decepticon combiner limbs are needed) so a custom might be in order for her.
