Uh oh......hmmm I get mine tomorrow. If the ratchets are wearing down too fast, maybe PX will react and provide some better joints.

Mine seems to have no ratchet issues at all. Stands just fine. His ratchets are solid without being "joint destroying" tight.

Mine still stands and poses totally fine. It’s just the knees seem to move a little more freely now than they did when he was straight out of the box. I’m not worrying about it yet, though I will take a look inside and keep an eye on it.

Literally one person posts about something they think is happening and you worry?

Mine are as well but it's just the over time effects that I'm worried about.

I thought of cybertronwarriors post when I noticed the knees feeling different on mine. I think his may have already been worn down when he got it though.

It seems it’s just my copy. A friend sent me photos of their Kadmos in The Matrix (dodging bullet) pose... hahaha. While 2 others have all have told me their knees are fine. So don’t let me cause a panic :)

On that note. Here are a few pics I managed to snap. Even with two bum knees, he’s spectacular.

Speaking as an IDW/CHUG kind of collector, I wish MMC Carnifex was at this scale!

I don't have the money for this now, but will keep an eye on ebay/2nd hand markets in the coming months...

I got to play around with my copy yesterday and today. This is my first PX toy and I'm impressed with this release. So far the joints are holding up fine. The right hip ratchet is a little looser than the left, but it holds up just fine. The arms have more articulation and I thought they would. Most sword poses are obtainable and this pleases me. Tolerances are good overall, but I do wish the legs tabbed together a little more cleanly in ship mode. I love all of the metallic paint apps and the diecast content makes this guy feel good and heavy. The face sculpt is not bad in person, but could better. The fingers are a little weird, they're missing like one more joint to be more effective for poses. I think I'm satisfied for an IDW Star Saber and I feel I don't need the flame toys one coming out later this month.

Screw hole covers, alternate faceplate, screws and screwdriver to attach the back thrusters if you don’t want them removable.
