I know you have absolutely no say in this- but for once please don't make the bambaland exclusive some essential must have part.  

I'm not sure if this is a figure I want or can afford (it's fantastic, but I'm sure it will cost upwards of $400 again, be hard to find a place for, lead to disagreements with the wife, etc.) I'd so love to be able to just mull it over for months and months rather than feeling like I have to make a decison shortly because I'll be missing some essential must have part if I don't jump immediately.

Great figure though! Wow!!! I can't wait to see more details!

 

I don't really mind what the exclusive is.
I'm ordering through Bambaland.  

 

Sale will be slightly different this time. Standard and Deluxe Editions with both being offered at Retail and Bambaland. Bambaland will have a non-refundable deposit program like with previous sales

 

Whoa! The exclusive will be available at retail too? What's the insentive to order through Bambaland? Will orders placed through the website be dispatched first?

It’s his sheild which isn’t as essential as past exclusives (prime head!? Bumblebee cannon!? They are part of their characters!)
In fact I barely remember meg using a shield...I thought the staff would have being a reasonable one too

 

I’m pretty sure bees exclusive was one of the pillars from dotm. Dotm prime exclusive was his cannon and AoE exclusive was his Energon blades.

Listed as Q3 2019. All their previous releases have been 6 months late so that means Q2 2020... Its going to be a while...

 

Sadly I think you're estimate is probably accurate. Just imagine how long we'll have to wait for the Bumblebee movie characters. That'll probably be pushing close to 2021..

 

Yeah I would say the later half of 2020, closer to 2021 is a good estimate. Prime and Bee were estimated for Q1 2018, and nobody has a tracking number for Prime yet, while Bee is still a ways behind Prime.

 

Yeah... I ordered Megatron but I hope I don't die of old age before it ships. ThreeA makes some top notch stuff but are a laughing stock when it comes to meeting deadlines

Now the neverending wait had begun...  

 

I had contacted them a few weeks ago. They said that people who chose the deposit program for TF5 Prime, would get an invoice for the remainder about a month before shipping. Bambaland orders will be filled first. Retailers would get their shipments a month or 2 later. No info on TF5 Bumblebee...

I chose to just pay the whole thing for TF5 Megs. They screwed up my order for Starscream back when he was on preorder and never sent the invoice. I checked my spam folder and everything and nothing. So, since i never got an invoice, I thought it was payment at time of delivery and didn't give it a second thought. But they obviously thought different. Since they didn't get payment, they canceled my order but didn't tell me. I had to find out a year later that they fucked up.

Because of all that, waiting for Prime and BB on the non refundable deposit program for the last 15 months has been SO stressful... Still have to wait a year or more but ,paying for Megs in full I don't have to stress about them fucking up the follow up invoice...

 

Well, I try to keep up with 3A news as much as possible.
I received the deposit receipt, and double check my Bambaland account to verify that my order is solidified.
No issue receiving the link in order to pay the remaining balance neither. If so, I would have contacted 3A's CS.

While I'll probably have to stalk 3A until 2020 for Megatron... oh well.
I bet it will be the same for their BUMBLEBEE Movie figures. So, it's not like I would be going out of my way to get updates.

 

Ahh yeah, there wasn't a deposit program with Starscream like with the more recent TF releases. Was all pay up front, so if the paypal transaction wasn't immediately paid after placing the order, then it was culled

 

@decemberist Has there been any news or updates or anything about the figure? Haven’t really seen anything new for awhile.

 

This has got to be canceled, right? Three A doesn't even really exist anymore, and we haven't seen an update on this figure in all of 2019, right?

 

Nothing is canceled. TLK Megatron has been listed with a Q4 2019 Shipping Estimate since the pre-order started. We're still in Q3.

Please re-read the 3A statement on its closure. All licenses, a.k.a. Transformers and Destiny 2, will continue under Threezero.
