Yeah, mine seized up about 20 minutes into owning it. If you happen to have any small lego balljoints sitting around, @thedicemaster came up with a replacement method that works great. The lego joints actually work better than the originals did on mine.

How did you make the LEGO ball joint parts connected onto the original legs? Any specific type of adhesives?

 

any decent glue will do for attaching the balls onto the legs(just make sure you use the ones with a technic axle end, so you can get a larger surface area)
the sockets can just plug into the foot and hold using friction.

 

Sooooo... I've owned Echara for close to a year now, had her in dino mode the whole time. Just attempted transforming her the first time any the first foot I tried to swivel around, snapped right off.

What are the chances I could still get replacement parts at this point?

 

I wouldn’t say absolutely zero, but i suggest you contact @thedicemaster for help on replacing those joints with lego parts. I did it with mine and I’ve had no issues since.

05 and 06 are on sale at TF Source for $40. That's a bargain. If you were like me and still waiting, go snag them.

My Echara’s feet broke off within a day of coming in so it really just depends on if you’re okay with ordering the parts after it breaks or not

 

i got it for 40 off tfsource's ebay as with 10% bucks back, it came to a bit less than them directly

so if you want it for a little less, try that

 

So, is it the sockets that break or the ball joint?

 

mine are doing good and they look great next to TW Extinction

 

the peg the ball is on breaks off because it's only half attached to the leg.
the socket becomes useless at that point because it's impossible to get the ball out.
