They are pretty much all like that. Where I find Target employees are cool, and willing to go out of their way to find what you need (including looking in the back), I find Walmart employees to be clueless, less than unhelpful meat sacks.
Picked up High Tower, Drift, Cyberverse Power of the Spark Soundwave, and Rainmaker seeker 3 pack at Lutz FL Target over the weekend. Also Cyberverse Legends Ratchet at Town & Country Target.
Having worked for both retailers, I can unequivocably confirm that it has everything to do with the workplace environment and the pay. Walmart employees are low-key living trapped in a waking nightmare. I don’t begrudge them anything, however I also don’t bother with them. BrickSeek was terribly unreliable when it came to Walmart inventory even before the entire site went to pieces recently. It’s been giving so many false positives and negatives that I do not bother with them, anymore. I have had better luck checking inventory through retailer-specific websites, or just calling.
There's also the complaint factor. Walmart doesn't seem to care about complaints, which makes their employees care less, a Target employee said they can be written up and/or fired over complaints
good to know, thanks. It wasnt a big deal that I couldnt find what I was looking for, just didnt enjoy the one interaction I had. I probably could have asked someone else. I'll not rely on brickseek as often.
Honestly, Pulse and Amazon are making it too easy to not leave the house for a hunt, anymore. I am in Texas right now and I am horribly tempted to head out after dinner and see what I can find, but it’s more for the novelty of a new location than the necessity of taking advantage of the new locale to find what I’m searching for.
lucky you. i still haven't seen a legion ratchet in the wild. i kinda gave up when i found out there is supposed to be a spark armor version.
Haha, sorry, I have to laugh because I did the same check for those $3 Optimuses and posted about it back on Aug 3
damn, I should have checked. I usually do lol. My GF starts working at Target soon so going to have better insight and of course discounts.
We have a lot of Targets in the Chicagoland area and I never found Ratchet. I couldn’t believe it myself when I saw it. Found 2 Cyberverse Alpha Trions yesterday at the nearest Target by my house that were clearanced to $7.98.
Walmart at the Avenues in Jax finally got some Soundwaves in. I grabbed one and there were 4 left. One was in a beat up box... If anyone in the Jax area finds the cassettes. Please let us know!!
North Tampa Update: University Target (near Mission BBQ) had: 2 x SIEGE 10 pack Micromaster set 2 x Studio Series 43 KSI Boss X-Men retro (orange package) 1 each of the following... X-factor Cyclops 90's Iceman Black face paint/Muramasa blade Wolverine
I tried to buy this the other day but Target decided it wasn't in their system and they wouldn't sell it.
Some asshole squeezed a T30 Springer into a Siege Springer box and returned it to the Flagler Target.
Everyone is dumping that guy now that the new one is out; it’s one of the greatest transformers ever made but everyone is treating it like trash. It goes for pennies on eBay and meanwhile, I’m so satisfied with mine that I’ve got no inclination to buy Stege Springer..
