I was over at the Happy Valley Walmart and the entire transformers section is empty. Brickseek says that G1 Soundwave is supposedly in stock, but I haven't seen anything there. Let me know if anyone spots him.
Maybe someone else had it right that they've just moved. It's bizarre that they would completely disappear from shelves.
Anyone have any interest in a MIB Encore Bruticus or MIB Warriors Unite Menasor? A friend is going to be listing them on her Mercari account for me and things sell fast on there but I figured I’d try here first to keep it local. Let me know!
Anyone ever been to the 4200 Se 82Nd Ave Walmart in Portland? Brickseek says they have two Soundwaves here but I can’t for the life of me even find a single Transformer. Not even a tag.
Visited all the Walmarts in Salem this morning. Lancaster has 4 of the g1 tape reissues. No Soundwave. Turner road has nothing but seige Hounds. And Commercial has 3 Refractors. Off topic: Lancaster has some cool Marvel Legends 2 paks. Juggernaut and Ragnarok. Also some Legos in clearance section.
Thank you! Got Hightower. Rest are still there. Also noticed Cyberverse Deadlock who ships with Gnaw. Keep an eye out army builders!
Thanks for the general tips, folks. I've snagged the new SS figures. Mini-thoughts are: Dropkick(car) is far superior to Shatter(car). Helicopter Drift is pretty damn cool. Hightower is the dumbest thing ever, but that's the movie design's fault. Figure-wise it's OK, but I can't wait to just make it (part of) a limb. Saw Cyberverse Gnaw, but I didn't get it because I guess I don't understand it. it looks like an OS version of the previous Gnaw, but without the clear green eyes. Am I missing something? Haven't found the Rainmakers yet.
Went to Lancaster Walmart and Center St. Target this morning in Salem. No Soundwave reissues at Walmart. Target had a micromaster 10 pack that I bought. I don't care for the Cyberverse line but the Alpha Trion I saw at Target looks kinda cool. That's still there. Both stores have a lot of deluxe class Siege figures. I wonder if Soundwave will be one and done like Devestator last year and the only way you can get one is on Ebay.
Was on the coast vacationing and stopped into the Newport Walmart. I've never seen a better stocked store; multiple Brunts, Refractors, Shockwaves, Micromasters/Battlemasters, a Starscream and a Soundwave. I was impressed.
Just wanted to share that SIEGE Voyagers are on sale currently at Target. Was able to snag a Springer for $24, minus %25 discount due to packaging a bit banged up, then another %5 off for using my Redcard. For an original price of $29.99 figure, got him for a mere $18. Happy hunting.
Friday morning saw 2 Siege Jetfires at Turner Rd. Walmart in Salem. Found mine at Blue Bags Collectibles in Silverton. Heard it's already out of business. Walmart's website shows 4 g1 Soundwaves for pickup at Lancaster Walmart but theres none on shelf. Is this to safeguard from shoplifters? Bought the only Refraktor at Commercial Walmart. Lots of deluxe class.
Finally picked up a Rainmakers 3-pack today at 185th Target. Not a sighting but somewhat related: Transformers Trading Card Game Introduces War for Cybertron: Siege II Raider Nova Storm - Transformers News - TFW2005
