I wouldn’t be surprised is they make an attempt to buy Sony pictures or at least the Spider-Man franchise back.

It appears it was equal parts Sony and Disney. Neither side was willing to agree...

And now the MCU has lost a part of itself just when it got back two parts as well...

This was the problem with Venom doing well. It gave Sony the confidence that they don't need Disney anymore.

The whole situation really sucks. Spidey was being set up to be the center of the MCU. Now who knows were this goes from here. I blame both sides but mainly Sony of course.

There is no way Disney is gonna let this stand.

They have enough money where they can buy Spidey back outright, there is no way in hell Kevin, Marvel, and/or Disney will allow a major character like Spidey to leave the MCU.

See, I never liked how MCU Spider-Man was introduced in the first place.

Even though Tom Holland is charasmatic, his Spider-Man has really been too dependent on what is happening in the MCU rather than standing on its own.

I mean to be fair to Disney, they simply didn't want the same deal, they wanted a better one which would benefit both party's not just one.

It's clear Sony is only in it for themselves, i would actually laugh if Tom Holland refused to do any more Spidey films.

That's where it was leading to though, being more independent and relying less on others, the end of Far from home showed this was the route his character was going.

    Fucking Sony -.-

That sure stinks. Sony could've at least let the MCU finish the final part of the MCU Spider-Man Trilogy before moving on? Leaving it off on a cliffhanger in the 2nd movie doesn't help.

so this seems to say sony is continuing the tom holland spider-man films away from the MCU. so no more spider-man avengers team ups but tom holland stays spidey.

You can't have a Tom Holland Spiderman film without Happy fucking Hogan.

You can't have a Tom Holland spiderman film without call backs to the MCU. It's how his character has developed over the past few years.

I would honestly laugh if Tom Holland didn't sign a new contract. Far from home was his last contracted film, hence the talks to renew it.

I knew those lazy fucking pieces of shit wouldn’t be able to resist. This whole thing had been a ploy to get Spider-Man popular again with Marvel doing all the work and Sony keeping all the money.

This isn’t just a business disagreement, this is straight up fucking scum be scum.

They can’t let this stand, everybody needs to be as vocal as possible, Marvel, Disney, Feige and Holland. They need to let Sony know that if they are going to be scummy, we’ll think of them exactly how they act.

Sony already has one foot in the grave after they sold their souls (And Popeye’s) to make Emoji Movie. Disney buying Sony would be a mercy killing, plus getting Spider-Man back no strings attached. Problem solved.
