Masterpiece figures as well. I do hope they at least keep the plastic window, i can imagine toy swappers taking a huge advantage.

 

The hands look really good! I wish we could have swappable hands for figures. Two fists which we already have for most figures, and a pair of open hands (in a relaxed position).

 

I agree. Some items I still enjoy to keep sealed, but the appeal is lost when you can’t actually see the figure.

Plastic is generally terrible for the environment though, especially one time use plastics.

 

I think you guys are right. I think the boxes will look like the box of Siege Jetfire which will make tings complicated for MISB collectors and it'll make it harder for collectors to know if they are getting the right product (like when people swap toys into the packaging of better figures so they can keep the better figure). Additionally, I think that figures will now be held by a cardboard clamshell sorta like the cardboard that is used to hold technology like laptops ad phones.

All in all, I think this is a wonderful move for Hasbro.

 

True but a small Sacrifice

Whatever makes you think anyone switched to plastic so that trees don't get cut down..

Plastic as well as paper are problematic if overused and used new.

Both are recyclable. However, paper is 100% recyclable whereas some plastics like duroplast remain unrecyclable.

And if people litter which you cannot stop them from doing paper is biodegradable. Plastic on the other hand will make Atlantis very angry

You can always make use of your 14 day return right if bought online and in stores you can kindly ask personnel to open the box for you to check if your new mpm came with two left thighs

 

Definitely a small sacrifice, as MISB collectors are a small minority, but I was at least trying to give them a shoutout as I know they’ll be upset. Definitely should prioritize the environment over a niche of a niche hobby. I personally throw out most packaging except for expensive figures since there’s always a chance I’ll wanna resell them.

And another good point is as more and more people buy online pilfering and stealing like you’d see in a Walmart will become a much smaller problem anyways, so why not cut down on harmful plastics? Afterall, the figures themselves will still be plenty harmful  

 

Remember when we saw @Godzilla Ranger drift with the wrong sword. If all figures are going to be hidden in the box, what's going to prevent the wrong item or someone switching the figure with their unwanted figures?

so these are the figures that started my collection back 2012. as you can see, scale was not a factor at the time. these have held up well. I haven't transformed some of these in a looong time. in fact this is the first time I was able to get ironhide in truck mode.

 

I feel ya. Mine had an army of them too until eventually the Siege Hounds took over.

 

Same at my local Target.

 

While we still don't have any idea what SS Scrapper is gonna look like, I know I will be extremely upset if it doesn't have nipples.

Aw, so that was an actual design flaw? I thought it was just me not getting everything all perfect, but it wasn't a big deal to me as I'll prob either have them all in robot or combined mode when displayed.
