As spectacular as the figure is, the one thing I’m disappointed it’s missing is LEDs to recreate how Unicron looks after he’s devoured a Lithone.



Still, the more I see of this toy the more insanely I need it. I pray that this gets funded, I think it would be a huge loss to the Transformers community if this thing never became a reality.

Hasbro, I think they put way too much hope in this shoddy fandom

It seems we are nowhere near as hardcore and loyal as the starwars fandom.

If this was it I'd still be perfectly fine with my purchase. I bought him based solely on what I saw at the very beginning when it was first announced. That alone was more than worth the price to me. Any additional things that come after are just bonuses.

 

Or they were just brainwashed by the force!

 

HasLab needs some option on Sept 1, after the backers are charged, that emails out the "You belong to me... now" clip with the confirmation. lol

 

An MP Galvatron will be included inside that planet.

 

Or maybe we'll get attachable arms, legs, and a head for a Grand Galvatron planet mode!

 

Support this or there will NEVER be an MP Galvatron!!!

 

There'll be a Robot Heroes Galvatron hidden inside the gullet.

 

@divinecomedy, thanks to Fans Toys, we could live without an official MP Galvatron. In all seriousness, the time has come for everyone who is interested in this piece to either fund or shut up about never having an official Unicron. Everyone should look at this decision and decide either buy this piece or never having one. We do not know if a 3p company will actually release a Unicron this scale and if there is by chance a KO version in three years (even if it is a better product than official, MP-36 compared to IT-01), nobody will really feel bad about this purchase and will probably buy the ko for half the price that maybe an improvement. Also, do not forget to tell friends and family, wives, girlfriends (great and unique gift opportunity), expected parents, go out and support poor Cookie Monster, let that pic on the hasbropulse page be a smile and wave hello, instead of a goodbye forever look!

Of course, if someone wants the toy, that's their perogative. However, I also don't want to blindly tell people they should buy something they're considering just because they definitely won't regret it. Buyer's remorse does happen, and for something like this I consider the decision to need to be made VERY carefully based on what funds you have available, among other things (like actual personal interest and space). It might sound ridiculous to make sure you consider how much you want a toy you're looking to buy, but how many people here have bought a main line figure just because it was the relevant toy the fandom was really talking up?

Again, if you want the toy, that's awesome. I just don't see anything wrong with people discussing the intricacies of whether they should buy it or not.

Also, I do think that in this day and age, where there's reissues of the Dinocassettes of all things, it's definitely worth considering what could come out in the future. While this isn't exactly the same thing, I feel like for a long time a (virtually) perfectly accurate G1 Cartoon Megatron toy seemed impossible. I'm sure a lot of people settled on the 3P options and maybe the original MP before 36 came out, and might have rather had 36 if they were given the choice at a later date. Just, I don't see what's wrong with the talk about what might be an alternative to this in the future.

 

That toally has to be the reason.  

 

Sadly I think because the MP team and moniker aren’t attached with this we will get nothing else that hasn’t already been shown.

I’d like effects and different colored faces and hands and a second chin without a forked beard. But it just isn’t in their budget I think. :/
