Worst case scenario you should be able to call your bank in advance and tell them to refuse any transactions from Amazon Japan, or from Japan in general. Could cause your Amazon Japan account to get blocked, but they probably wouldn't do that.

It is funny that you mention the whole thing about Goodsmile and Bandai. My most recent Figmas have had minor paint issues, and even some parts being wrong (Megumin coming with two left thumbs up hands). The other part is that my DBZ S.H. Figuarts have been way cleaner than before.

Y'know when the live action movie came out in 2007 I was very anxious (like a hyper intense combo of nervous and excited). I was living in a new city for the summer, at a girlfriend'a parent's house. I biked one city over (small adjacent Montana cities) on opening day to see the film at the bigger cinema-plex. I went alone, not certain of how it'd go over with anybody else.
On my way I stopped and bought some spices from the co-op for a dinner I was making that eve, and ended up breaking out in full body hives. (I still took myself to the movie!)
I always assumed I'd been allergic to something at the co-op, but maybe mine was also Transformers induced! (It's never happened since.)

I'm really hoping I can be home quick that Tuesday! I have Wednesday off week after next--I'm looking forward to a relaxing day of G1 episodes, iced tea, and Optimus Prime.
