I still haven't pulled the trigger on this. I currently have five different Bruticus (Brutici?) in my collection so I'm not certain that I need another one.

lol...i am loving the new term of "Brutici" by the way.

but if you are on the fence about maybe picking up this guy. please just pull the trigger on him it is well received. now even though i dont own this exact version in particular. i do have the IF bot and he is simply fantastic and a great set of bots all around.

so if this is a good as it has been talked about by members that i can trust their judgments. then it should be a no brainer if you get all the cool aspects of the IF bot for less than half the price.

I have a general idea, but i'm still fishing for a pic of Onslaught or any of the team with some hot soldiers or mft stuff. I' m very keen on displaying the team separated and i'd like to see if they can work.

Found some photos from the reviews of our local store, together with MFT megatron, starscream and HS soundwave probably. Personally it fits well.

BTW,generally this KO is said to be even better than IF original, especially for its joints, not as tight so it is easier to play with. U can find it here with decent price PPT KO IF War Giant

Saw a cheap set on eBay. About 15 dollars cheaper than show.z store.

The seller store rating is pretty good, and the seller claims it is new in box and a special sale.

Just wondering how safe is this kind of purchase? Could it be defective batch or damaged figures repackaged? Or is it really a special sale?

    Thanks.

i mean if saving 15 bucks is worth it to you than do it. as long as they have a decent feedback and you use paypal you should be ok.

Just got these guy from a local seller, my dad bought it for me as an easter gift because he thought he was cool (and he was told that it would've been original but that's trivial). The individual bots are ok, except BlastOff who's got some pretty loose hips. Combined mode feels weird, some joints are extremely stiff, others loose, when trying to bend the right knee for example you're more likely to unpeg Swindle's front part than bend the actual knee. Also I haven't figured out a way to lock in Onslaught knees while combined so that he doesn't lean back. Other than that, i like them, and they absolutely wreck it lookwise. They are my first legends scale figure so far, and i might consider getting more Iron Factory stuff because i love their style, they are pretty pricey though.

Those this guy have any problem with broken parts?

I saw a few reviews of him having few joints broken.

If the ball joint is loose, it wouldn't be a problem to solve it but if it breaks, it would be bit more concerning...

Anybody has an issue with this?

No. I believe there were issues with the original, but this is a KO.

I love Bruticus as a character in whole cause he's really awesome. It's that it seems when your looking to buy 1 you need to do research, write a paper,do a science project etc. So that's just to figure out where you should buy a figure of the mighty Bruticus.

i think this applies to any 3P figure if you're really nitpick-y. i had to go back-and-forth numerous times with Ultra Magnus before getting the Papatoys one. and now MFT is releasing their KO of MST Magnus which was my first choice (the scaling wasn't just up to my taste then).

Oh no I'm not the picky person that has too have different features or must have to buy him. I just know that when ever I've looked to buy one. I see them all from all the company's and think i want to buy them all i like them. Then your pocket book says you shall not pass to 99% of them. So that 1% of just 1 Bruticus can i buy since really there are so so many options you can buy from.

I'm gonna give this a shot. I bought a used War Giant off the for sale section here, with a minor defect (vortex's cannon snapped off, fixable).
Immediately upon handling, one of the combiner head antenna's snapped off

the right hand, one of the fingers hand mold flash near the knuckle preventing it from rotating. I tried to separate the fingers a bit to get a knife in there, the finger snapped off. So frustrating, i'll never get a replacement head, cannon, and finger.

At least in my experience, the ko is Rock solid with smooth joints. I couldn't be happier with it. Hope it works out well for you

Got mine in yesterday, shout out to tfsafari for getting it to me relatively quickly. I'll certainly be using them again.
The set overall is great with my only real issue being Vortex, his combiner elbow joint doesn't seem to want to move. Certainly not a deal breaker though. I don't really mess with legends stuff but I have to say this has completely won me over.

Now this is a puzzle then isn't it the original has issues and so does the KO - what do I do then wait for a sale or hope someone KO's it again only even bigger ? Maybe if they made another colour option I could keep one in combined mode and one as individual robots and so minimise the potential stress on them with to much handling.

To be honest I think they may be a bit to small for me still which is why I've not really jumped on them yet - I think I'll have to buy them off a trusted source though if they are this haphazzard in quality.

i haven't heard of any real quality issues. for 60 or whatever it is a great buy. dont skip out on these little guys. i have the IF version and it is still one of my favorite legends set.

the bar was raised when IF made this guy. he is so detailed and fun it would be a shame to pass on it.

I haven’t heard any issues either except for minor stuff like hips attached backwards, things that are easily corrected by the buyer.

What issues are you talking about with the KO?

Read back a couple of pages people are talking about bits snapping on them.
