I've been collecting 1/60 Macross about ten years now, I open most of them and swoosh them around, but I never have fully transformed any except Vf-1 lol
My one Messer VF-31 I've taken as far as gerwalk mode, then back to jet. Chucks 31 I've got the radar up, on the flight stand, might switch to gerwalk some day haha

 

I reintroduced myself to Transformers about the time of the Combined Wars Generations. Buying all of the Transformers I missed out of as a kid. Then just recently dropped back into Macross. I discovered that I like to fidget and transform them both as it has a calming effect on me. So randomly I will take one down and it lives on my coffee table for me to fidget with. For a while it was Chuck's VF-31E which I had standing in Gerwalk mode, but now he sits on my desktop computer in Battroid mode. But it was really fun to transform since I would sit there and be amazed how it looked in all three modes.

 

Exactly. After dipping my toes in the water for collecting a little here and there for about 20 years (mostly Star Wars,) I went full force on selective TF and Macross for the same reason.

 

My Yammie/Arcadia 1/60v2 VF-1's and my yammie VF-11b are quite a joy and quite fun to transform in all modes.

My other Yammie non-VF-1's aren't quite as much fun. The VF-4G is way fugly in battroid-mode, anyway.

On the other hand, all my Bandai valks (HM-Rs and DXs) are mostly PITA when being transformed into any modes...

The Takatou/Bandaid VF-1 will always be my most favorite mech to transform ever. Nothing has topped it for me yet. Some bots have come close, but not overtaken.

 

Still no release date for the SV51? It's more than halfway into august

Since you got the Yammie version of Ivanoff, are you willing to pay roughly 5.4 times more of the price of the Yammie for the Arcadia version??

That's crazy big. It's got to be somewhat unwieldy, if not unbalanced. Do I see a figure stand holding that up?

 

Yeah, looks like the one Chuck comes with. It does look crazy with the armor on it though.

 

It's not the stand with the DX Chuck. The Silpheed Chuck is using the actual stand inside the Amoured Set as it has the arm attachments at the back if the stand.
