My working hypothesis at this time is Team Kapow unexpectedly got some mixed Springer/'Cracker boxes among the solid 'Cracker cases they were expecting. Hence the odd smattering of dispatches.

 

Or some import stock showed up..... LMK if there's text by the age number on the box when it shows up

It's possible, Phil, but AFAIK Kapow are sticking with Hasbro UK as previously announced and I haven't been asked to pay extra for air frieght or owt so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯?

In demand have jetfire at tfn but it's £95 and they have a disclaimer on the price tag declaring it as import stock, says UK stock arriving at end of August.

 

Ouch. I gave up waiting for Jetfire and bought him last week from Omegalock...with p&p, it was only an extra £1.50 on top of ID's regular price. Was well worth it to finally have him (the big boi is bloomin' banging) & not worry about another delay/possible last minute UK cancellation.

Sighting wise - finally saw those smaller Cyberverse Spark Armour figures in person today in The Entertainer for £16. Only Screamer and Sky Byte on the shelf, so I picked up the shark bait out of curiosity....he blows the Generations version out of the water a bit, doesn't he!

 

Is there anywhere in-store or online that still has SS-18 VW Bumblebee? Can't find him anywhere.

Have Kapow or IDToys give any clue if they are trying offer Unicron?

 

Kapow were costing out the Seacons according to a recent-ish FB post (about the time the full colour images of Turtler & Gulf dropped), no word on Unicron apart from them spreading the official promo links AFAIK.

if you've reservations about dealing with them, i've had no problems.

 

I've had a few niggles with big items. Re-issue Trypticon was dispatched in a frankensteined two boxes taped together which definitely wasn't very strong, but thankfully survived ok.

Grand Maximus got shipped just in its outer brown cardboard box, which was barely thicker than wrapping paper. As a consequence it didn't fare too well and it arrived with a massive hole in both boxes where something very heavy had punctured it in transit.

I'm slightly worried about Unicron from them. Their Seacon prices are quite a bit higher than what IDToys had them at, so I'm waiting to see what Kapow list them at first.

Visited Wallsend smyths today, I'll give you a chance to guess if Siege Jetfire was there or not.

 

If anyone is after SS Grimlock it might be worth heading to Smyths, just picked him up for £34.99.

They’ve got a £5 off any purchase over £20 offer on but it seems it’s £5 for every £20, meaning I got £10 off Grimlock. He’s worth it for that price.

 

  That's STEEP. I might have to hold out and hope they find a way to source stock as they have with other Amazon exclusives.
