I got the 45th like!  

Ok just gonna say it, the second I saw the chibi alt mode in February I was in love with it. Never doubted it was exactly what I wanted. Also, Morphobots! It feels like the chance of Perceptor just shot up, seeing as we now have cartoon accurate Inferno, Optimus, Bee, And Smokescreen to fill out the Child’s Play/The Gambler cast, not to mention stickers to homage those stories.

 

aha , after one day messing with bee , his articulation starting to loosen up a little make him much more easier to pose now , no more stucks from excessive coating. So much love.

The blue is very , very light. Stock Takara photos tend to have slight warm tint to it so it's not easy to see the blue tint. repeat VERY LIGHT BLUE. You can see the blue at the thickest area of the window. Imo , having the blue like some of the first prototype will make the figure have too many focal colors , look distracting. This light aqua blue tint is better.

Due to more parts , the figure body feel more *dense* now , holding in hand have a feeling of mass from focusing parts unlike MP-21 mainly is a hollow body with shell covering a few parts.
There are no soft ratchets. The loose ankle on promo shows is because of too much interacting , as with friction joints. Mine is production piece / reject not for sale , so i'm sure the worldwide release batch will definitely have better tolerance.
On the double knee joint , the lower joint is a tad looser than upper one , but by no means delute the good friction feel.

The grey is a hard question. The in middle piece of his thigh is definitely bare grey plastic while the outer has a matte surface. I think they are bare grey but have matte coating on it.

The thigh can move up very well , might be a tad not up as sunstreaker and megatron because he has part of the crotch piece stop the thigh. But kneeling pose should be easy peasy.
His ankle allow for very good upward and backward movement. He can do this pose with ease.


He can balance on one feet to , so running pose is A-okay.

How about sitting down? Do the thighs move up enough to allow him to sit down, and is there a way to pose the rear of the feet so that they don’t get in the way when sitting? I like to have Bumblebee a little plaintive like in the comics sometimes.

Glad to confirm the pose-ability is just as up-to-snuff as we suspected it was. From what you’ve said plus what we’ve seen, his articulation includes:

Balljointed/hinged neck
Shoulder outward and upward hinges
Shoulder forward/inward swing
Bicep swivel
Deep elbow bend of about 150 degrees with additional upper hinge
Wrist swivel
Knuckle hinge
Waist swivel (impaired)
Outward/forward/backward hip movement
Thigh swivel
Double jointed knee bend
Inward/forward/backward ankle movement

Did we confirm or disprove any ab crunch? I haven’t seen anything in either direction. I also like that we have bot mode pistol storage. Given that Prime and Bee both have it now, I wonder if Hound does too...could be a new standard for the line.

He has additional upper elbow hinge. So the arm can bend extremely well.

Yeah it’ll be a true toy version with the car mode. And making a toy accurate head with proper horns would be great.

Oh that’s cool. I probably won’t use those cause they’re very specific stickers but I like that they included them. Reprolabels is getting lazy these days.

 

That makes sense, when I pre ordered MP 45, I was thinking a + version would be pointless. But being that the original toy was a penny racer, it would make PERFECT sense. And a + version with the mask would be AMAZING.

 

Also all the more reason to make a Glyph. You know me and strange demands.
