That’s actually unsettling. Though I’m happy for tall David Lynch robot lady with the mom clothes. Go her. Speaking of Lynch, the Black Lodge in Twin Peaks freaked me out as a kid. Some SCP are genuinely creepy, mainly because of how dryly and scientifically they describe these fucked up things. The one with the stairs mentioned earlier is perhaps the best, reminds me in feel of a dream I had where I and this shaman were trying to retrieve the soul of someone’s dead husband. Just that sense of a vast wrong space that you really aren’t supposed to be in. Roadside Picnic by the Strugatsky brothers and its movie adaptation Stalker are not scary, but the Zone, a place where the natural laws have been disabled and nothing is what it seems, is terrifyingly awesome.
