That's true. If it was the cosmicly powered demi-god like being from the comics, I'd say he'd have future potential, but that's sure not the MCU version.
Now that he's lost Sakaar to an uprising, there could be an opportunity for the Grandmaster to get mean and badass. He is a strategist who makes games for his own pleasure after all. And I think Goldblum can put in a good performance.

Would be cool if towards the start of the movie there's a montage of Thor fighting random bad guys throughout the Galaxy with Thunderstruck by AC/DC playing. He would start as fat Thor from EndGame and each time it cut to a different scene he is in a little better shape than the last scene until he's finally back to his old self.

I sure hope it’s included. Could make for good drama and emotional moments. Ragnarok had plenty of it, but it was buried under a ton of humor. This could very well be what brings Thor back into her life. Considering how things went offscreen. Thor finds out she’s sick, he rushes to her bedside, and that kicks off whatever journey the movie has in store for us. Hmm, that would work perfectly.
Taika Waititi's Korg Will Return in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ I still love that Marvel only introduced Korg and Miek in 2017, yet I still adore them and care about them as much as I do the other long term MCU heroes. Hell, who’d have ever expected a rock and a bug to become such lovable characters, let alone that we’d all cheer to see them show up to help fight Thanos and then charge in the frontlines?
Well the rumor going around is that Ryan Gosling is being looked at to play Gorr the God Butcher in the movie. Another is that Beta Ray Bill will also be in the movie. 3 Thor’s in one movie? Waititi did say this movie would crank up the craziness. Only downside is they’d have juggle all of them.
There’s always the axe Thor used before Mjolnir in the comics. Or they create a new weapon based off of something in the comics.
Maybe Thor will use his Mjolnir legion like in the comics. He had one hammer that split in two, and one hammer that exploded. Or Thor may go a simpler route and take up his Jarnbjorn axe.
