I wish... 'Taobao Deliveries' are a tonne of fun to film and edit (even hungover). I love making them ^_^
But I haven't been able to ship anything with "Transformers" in the title for most of 2019.

Same for me. Got a tracking number this morning. Looking forward to seeing how it the non panel lined version compares to the panel lined version.

 

I think it's better all around that way, as those parts of an F-15 aren't usually left bare metal. It's neither real-world nor character-accurate. (And the nosecone isn't even MADE of metal so should never be painted to look like such)

 

There are a few but it's mainly 2 things:

1) try diff sellers for the same item as some have smartened up and don't have banned words in their listings

2) build up a cart of item(s) to the same value and pay that. Converse with the seller first but they're usually ok to take payment that way and send the intended item. I always leave a note and link to the item I want as well as the description. The only downside to this is having to make up the denomination but the 1 yuan listing top up, and multiples of it, helps. For tracking your orders though it's hard as theirs no visual record of your purchases.

I'd say most active Taobao users use this swap method and I can't be credited with finding this workaround. I always create the order though as opposed to the seller sending me recommended links to make up the purchase value.

Wish the plain version had a blue nose cone.

I had ordered the Gold one drink baba when first announced. He had sent me an envelope to show tracking on eBay. He had never done that before. Hope he comes through. He did let me know about it. He said eBay was hammering down for shipments. But it’s the first he had ever done that.

Wow! Ordered the non-linear version and 2 other things from baba on 7/30 and was the last to ship but received it today w another item. Didn’t realize it came in a standard brown box and plastic mold didn’t have any tape to confirm it was sealed but hopefully it’s good since I’m giving it as a gift. I did have a prior issue w babas packaging but seems they changed it a bit by putting the bubble wrap on the outside box vs inside. Seems to help better.

 

Curious how the red color paint/plastic looks.
Is it a dull red, rich red or metallic red? I had the original YesModel SS, it was a dull red which wasn’t desirable for me. So wonder if it’s more like Hasbro/Takara. Thanks in advance 

 

Would anyone be kind enough to post a couple of pics of this thing out of the box in natural lighting? I just want to get an idea of the colour. The first few pics offered on Showz make it look like it's grey but the latest pics make it look almost white. If anyone can do this you have my thanks.

EDIT: Actually I can see from TFDirect it is pretty much white. That's a shame - was hoping for grey. Pics would still be welcome anyway though!
