I must be in the minority but I feel that Tracks is the worst MP released. He looks ok but his problems for me are in his joints and bot mode solidity. His knees and feet are loose and find it hard for him to stand in any dynamic pose. And if you get him in a pose his head cannot be posed in a way that would compliment the pose. I was transforming him last night and I do enjoy his transformation but I don’t think he’s a great bot and I would rather they redesign him over a repaint. The toon repaint we’ve seen work well because they are on stellar molds and imo tracks is not.
Road rage is better due to better head articulation but my copy is even looser on the chest and legs than Tracks is.

 

Good question! I have MP-10, Bumblebee, G2 Sideswipe, Bluestreak, and Barricade.

I'm only being choosy because I want this next MP to be a good one before I cut it out for a while. I seem to like Tracks, Cheetor, and Ratchet most, but I'll consider any other options.

 

Yeah I'd say Tracks is the worst MP. Which is really a shame, since he's one of my favourite bots.

 

So, y'all would say Cheetor or Ratchet, then, based on what I said earlier?

 

i honestly wouldn't be surprised if a tracks version 2 was made.

 

I don’t own any beast wars MPs so I would say get Rachet.

 

A V2 Tracks would be the best way to go. Tracks is a tall carbot which was a design strike against him. A second one was the Corvette Sting Ray body was very narrow in real life. It was amazing that TT even pulled off Tracks considering his transformation, rear end that turned into his backpack and a lot of panel changing, not to mention the accomodation of his flight mode.

A Tracks re-tool wouldn't break TT's design team and would definitely upgrade him to the current standard of MP carbots.

 

How about MP Sunstreaker? It will be Sunstreaker, Optimus Prime (NEW) , Megatron, Soundwave. I could always go with MP Prowl Anime or Ironhide. Heck even Ultra Magnus would be sick!!!

 

I'd get MP Sunstreaker. He's the best car bot up to now. I also really like the Grapple/Inferno mold.

I love ironhide. The hip panels don't bother me at all. I love tracks too. I also like the original bluestreak better than the plus version.

@convoy84 , I'd just wait on Tracks+ then even if he might be a year or two away and go for Ratchet. I'm not a BW guy so I've no experience with those figures, but the vans have one of the most fun and ingenious transforms in the whole line and have tons of personality and accessories/gimmicks to keep them fun for years to come. Hard for me to believe Ironhide was released over 3 1/2 years ago and I'm still in awe of him and his vanbro!

MP Tracks is decent. The transformation has some neat "MP aha!" moments going to robot mode. I think I felt a little underwhelmed by it coming off of Prowl and seeing that the knees were just single joints. It does have a lot of personality that does scream Tracks though.

 

So when can we expect some in-hand mp44 pics/reviews? It’s release is so close I can’t take it anymore! lol

 

Some appreciation for Sunstreaker. If Takara ever makes a Sideswipe v. 2.0 with this level of articulation, I'm in.

 

Great job, man! My kind of pose! 100% agree about Sideswipe, too (btw, don't forget to fold those intakes forward on his boots   ). Honestly, I'm in on all re-dos thanks in large part to the crazy articulation. You in on the new Prime, Bumblebee, and Hound? All I can think about is posing them! Driving me nuts!
