If we get Korra figures i need Verrik and Zhu Li so they can do the thing. Also need Bolin and Pabu. Chase version is Nuktuk Hero of the South.
I've never bought any Diamond figures, but I hope these are solid figures; I'm kinda hoping they make Katara's skin darker though. It's pretty light in that image.
Just learning about these now. Threw a pre-order down for them very fast. I hope to Unicron that they do more and that the quality is good. A little bummed they are 7 inch scale as it would have been nice if they scaled decently with other figures I have from other lines (DBZ for example).
In stock now at bbts as well as amazon (as least Aang and Zuko), I'm sure other fine retailers have them as well.
I hope Figma picks up this license some day. They'd be absolutely perfect for this art style. Diamond will at least give us plenty of alternate costumes through, if their Kingdom Hearts line is anything to go by. You won't have to choose between Season 1 and Season 3 looks.
Picked up Kitara from Walgreens today for around $16. Overall, not bad, but not that good. The sleeves severely hamper her arm movement, as well as the skirt blocking her legs. The joints are almost all frozen and need worked on to move. I still can't get one ankle to bend, so I stopped trying out of fear of snapping the joint. The fingers aren't splayed like in the prototype pics and they're always in handshake form. The sculpt is perfect, though. Lots of detail and beautiful paint.
Thanks for the up close pics. I have been eagerly awaiting these. They look a little disappointing. I do wish Figma would get the license and do the characters properly.
FYI, the ones at Walgreens are an exclusive release with fewer accessories and smaller effect parts. The mass release one will have larger effects parts and more accessories from what I've seen.
I saw the three characters at a Walgreens. Aang has his bo staff, Katara has that water bubble hand, and Zuko with the smaller fireball. I was close to picking them up, since I adore the series. But decided to wait. Came back to this thread, to learn that there are different releases with different accessories, which I hate! They should have had all of the extra parts included.
Well, at least it's the exclusive versions that are skimping on the accessories. So just don't buy them at Walgreens. That said a lot of people have been confused about this so it would have been nice if Diamond had made an actual announcement stating that.
I could be wrong, but the figures that are not the Walgreen exclusive versions are missing things that the Walgreen versions have. For example, Walgreens Aang has a determined looking face, and the glider staff. While the other Aang has a happy face, Momo, clenched fist hands, and air effect parts. I really like the determined looking face and staff, but I also want Momo. So I would have to buy both versions in order to get all of the accessories that I want.
