I had to go pull out my lizard baf to mess with it a bit after all the lizard talk. A reissue I'm assuming with a Spiderman is just a matter of time.
Firstly, like most I'd love to see such a reissue rework the head or include a couple of options for the head. The one we got is ok, but the elongated tongue just makes it less appealing because a tongue out like that kinda limits posing options because it's really only good for specific poses with other figures and it's hard to just pose him in a normal circumstance because this ridiculous tongue is just flopping around all the time.
The second and main rework needed for him is the knees. The knee cap piece in particular. There's got to be a way to make a new knee cap joint piece between the thighs and calf that allows better articulation without resculpting the rest of the legs.
Third, the lab coat. They've made significant improvements to their coats by making them thinner and using a more pliable mixture. That should be relatively easy to just use the existing mold with the new formula. Even then I can mod it easily with more cuts to make it more flexible. I mean the current one just makes him haunch down so far coupled with the knees lack of extension just kills his height.
Fourthly and I can live without it, but the tail. I'd love to have a bendable tail. The one we get is ok, but getting a non baf scorpion that has a big bendy tail just puts this tail to shame. Come on, give us this one hasbro. This might require more work that will make it harder because I'm assuming that the bendy part has to be permanently attached so the ball joint for the original tail would have to be abandoned and a resculpt for the lower torso to incorporate a permanently attached tail would be required.

Lizard with a human face is perilously close to a green Thing.

Also if you squint it looks like he lived up to his name too well and regrew his right arm into an entire live crocodile. That would certainly be an exciting new direction for the character.

Got Ghost and Luis today. These two have some of Hasbro’s best face printing tech so far. They look SPOT ON to Michael Peña and Hannah John Kamen, it’s unreal.

I mainly got the set for Ghost, and she’s great. I always wanted a ML Ghost when the movie came out, because the suit looks so cool, and they finally delivered. Knee joints are a tad loose but nothing horrible. Feet are tiny as hell though, so kinda tricky for easy posing. She scales great with the SH Figuarts Ant-Man and Wasp too.
Luis is fine, just a suited body with a blazer that looks slightly too large lol. But his smile is hilarious. Glad to have him nonetheless. Overall, an amazing set!

Now I’m all caught up with the 80th anniversary two packs. I’m still waiting on my collector grade MISB 80th Iron Man from BBTS; a new Cap that a nice user is selling me; and a copy of Thor. Although I still need MJ from that Homecoming pack. But I think I can breathe a bit until Avengers wave 3.

To this day I still love how this storyline made the Lizard into such an awesome and horrifying force to be reckoned with which the art and design further solidifies that fact. Really helped reminding people on why the Lizard is one of Spider-Man's greatest enemies for a good reason. Shame we won't see this version of the character in the MCU but hopefully we can in Sony's planned TV series of the Spiderman brand.

If Marvel Legends decided to re-release the BAF Lizard but looking more like the McFarlane version I'll nab it the first chance I'll get.

I personally wouldn’t mind a classic lumpy face and a more modern lizard head included instead of a BAF part.

I’d also love a new Flint Marco in the style of the recent Hydroman. Wouldn’t be opposed to a classic Electro either.

If they are ever going to redo Lizard he has to look more like the Silver Age appearance.

As for Sandman, I want them to do him using the Hydroman body, but they really need to fix their loose arms issues. The one Hydroman I bought couldn't get his arms to stay up for more than 22 seconds so I returned him. I'm not willing to buy him again until he is on clearance.

I was going to skip this set (God knows my wallet needs some breathing space) but it looks like I'll need that Ghost - looks amazing.

You won’t regret it! I do wish she came with some extra hands or maybe a phase shifting piece to demonstrate her intangibility properties, but the unhelmeted head is so perfect that I can overlook that wish.

I hear ya on the breathing room though haha

Wolverine is the only figure I want out of that love triangle 3 pack coming out later this year.

If someone out there pre-ordered the set and wants to unload Wolverine, shoot me a PM please.

The blue is pretty much done. Miles' hands didn't take to it so they'll just stay black. There's enough black on the figure from its Homecoming roots that it wouldn't look odd. Now I just need to touch up the black, fill in the web lines on the fingers, and it will be done.

The legs look really long though. It's like a ML upper torso on Select legs. Looks odd.

I've seen someone on a FB group do a leg mod. Looked pretty good so long as you don't stare at the lower legs.
