Now I just need to find someone who wants to buy the two gun Battlemasters off me, as I have no use for them.

 

Darn tootin I'm a prime member. I do so much busy with Amazon is crazy and I hate it when things get screwy like this.

In an update, my original order is finally "Preparing to Ship" again. I bought a 2nd order on the pretense of "If my first order doesnt ship my by second one does, Amazon is going to get a stern phone call" but if the original ships then no biggie

 

Ohhh amazon chat service you never cease to amaze me with your wild tales. This is after my shipping date got moved UP actually from Monday to being delivered today.

 

And that's when you demand a manager. As soon as they pull that "We don't actually understand English, we are just doing keyword searches to trigger boiler plate" you demand a manager

 

Instead he transferred me to someone else. So called instead to get it handled. Working in customer service myself I know good and poor customer service when I get it. Only Amazon knows how to bring my inner Karen out. Haha.

 

Got my skywarp today, would be nice if they packed it in something other than the Hasbro shipper, box was dented.

 

Both of mine arrived.

Skywarp magically appeared while I was at work without a shipped notification. I love the mold in these colors. I actually dig the weird frown he has as well.

This is the first time I had a G1 style Screamer besides the old legend class one and the first time I want the seeker trio. Now to get Thundercracker when I'm not broke.

 

Well, here's something you don't hear often. Thanks to the ankle issues with Slamdance I opened my set to make sure it was ok only to discover Raindance was missing a wing. Amazon was very helpful and I'll have the replacement on Monday.

I'm a patient person. I don't much care when something arrives as long as I get it eventually. But I'm starting to wish my items arrive late so I can complain and get free credit too!

 

No kidding. Except working in retail I wouldnt complain over a minor delay because have to deal with enough "Karens" in my own job. Hell I had Walmart cancel a SDCC funko I ordered while it was in stock because they ran out and couldnt get more. Got my refund and moved on with my life and found it in a store. My time is too valuable to waste dealing with some customer service reps over a delayed toy.

 

I consider myself a patient person, so long as I am informed of the situation and made aware of what factors caused a delay. I work in customer service myself, where I'm required to frequently be proactive in communicating delays and alternative options at the moment, as well as offer compensation when there's any deviation from the intended outcome, so I have little patience a company like Amazon, or it's army of willfully lazy and dismissive employees who don't even know the answer to a question they refuse to answer directly, and if they're willing to pay me off in credit to accept the situation, I'll take it just to console my frustration at their ineptitude. Does that make me a "Karen"? Probably, but a Karen who has been on the other side of the counter enough to recognize both sides of the situation.

 

What does "Karens" mean?
Don't get me started on Walmart...every one I have been too has every Rick and Morty figure in the wave EXCEPT Scary Terry. And, if I order one online, I'm paying $5 more at least. One employee told me the cases are random and don't have the whole wave in them....

 

"Karen" is that entitled middle-aged women who goes to customer service and demands to speak to a manager for every little thing. Frequently stereo-typed with that bobbed haircut where the sides are really short so they can do that hair flippy thing.

For me its less of the delay and more of "Is this a common problem" which it is for Amazon. I mentioned earlier in this thread that just in the year 2019 I've had 6 of the 7 preorders I placed delayed, with an average of a month and a half being for when they finally got them to me. And this isn't "Oh, Amazon got the date wrong!". They sent them out to other people and then ran out because they over sell the preorder. I currently have one preorder I'm not even counting in this tally that has been delayed since April, scheduled to arrive now in September.

Add into this that their chat center is horrid and I have zero problem complaining every time to them and unleashing the Karen we all have.
