Yes, the only differences are that Movie 1 Prime (SS 32) comes with one blaster and no other accessories, and has the original chest as opposed to the silver chest that the DOTM figure has.

Also, the DOTM one has pins in place of a friction hinge joint that SS 32 had on a part that was prone to popping off.

 

There was some conversation about the Dr. Wu tri-barreled blaster so I thought I'd get mine out and have SS-32 hold it. I think it looks pretty good for a giant rifle.

Score! Walked into Target this morning just as they were freshly opening cases to stock the shelves. Grabbed Hightower, Dropkick, and Drift. Also saw KSI Boss in person for the first time so now he's on my list lol.

Each Deluxe excels in their own way.

Hightower is the kookiest (in a good way).

Drift has an amazing robot mode.

Dropkick has an awesome transformation. My only complaint with him is loose hips, which are fixable.

Wow looks way better in your pics! I guess it's a good size, maybe my problem is just with the design of the rifle. I always liked the regular blasters better because they were a more reasonable size and also it was cool that they clearly transformed out of his back. From dotm onwards they always had handheld weapons instead of integrated ones and I always liked the integrated more. Anyway yours looks awesome!

Hmm. It all comes down to personal preference but IMO it needs to be a cm or 2 shorter.

So I scored this guy off of eBay for like $23.50. It's legit and came with the box too. It feels so much better than the cheapo knockoff I got.

The weathering and colors are perfect. He is an amazing little devastator and feels and looks great.

I really want Hasbro to do a SS box set of Devastator in these G1 colors.

 

I'd buy every single one. I don't normally like SS figures. I got Prime and Bee from Bumblebee for deskbots at work and then picked up Shatter and car Dropkick but if they went all in Cybertronian-moded figures from the Bumblebee intro I'd love it. The aesthetic is awesome. I don't like Bayformer designs in the slightest and Siege can be a little too G1-y at times so Bumblebee Cybertron-intro figures would really hit a sweet spot for me.

 

I can't help but wonder what it would look like if you took heli dropkick's chestpiece and backpack and modded them onto car dropkick (using the head of the latter). It would be non-transforming, but I feel like it'd be super accurate to how he looked in the movie...

 

ive been debating on doing the exact thing for a while now, just haven't had the time.

 

The FWI-5 is a bit shorter, but it's wider and less detailed than Dr. Wu's.

 

More based on this guy... bought him specifically to use as a head transplant but the ignitors head is a hollow mess...

 

@Shadow25 said that SS car Dropkick has loose hips. If you have Dropkick, does your copy also have this issue? I hope it isn't a widespread issue.

I was talking about something like this on this thread a few weeks ago, it'd be great for army building! These Decepticon drones/protoforms were always in the movies, I'm sure it'd be great to have them! They could even transform into the small fighter crafts!
