Again, neat. But I love the green. This I do prefer to just doing the RotF one though.

 

Never understood the love for Lio Convoy. A transformation that makes the dinobots look complex. Bludgeon looks alright though.

Are there seriously people that love a TF toy primarly for the way it TFs? It's certainly appreciated for the process to be fun but your comment implies it's the major criterion for liking a toy/character and it's never been anything but the very last issue of concern. Who cares how fun it is to Tf a TF if one or either mode is a shit toy? But if one or both modes are cool the fun of getting between them is merely gravy on top.

But nobody buys and eats just gravy.

Yeah I'm really not feeling either of these. I get the Samurai look for Bludgeon, but Lio Convoy makes no sense to me. It just ruins the look for me. Never was Interested in Bludgeon but if I was, the deluxe RID figure is fine for my tastes. Shame, I usually love IF designs and I would normally jump for Legends BW, but this just isn't for me. It's ok though, their Primal and Megatron look fantastic.

 

Soooo they just made Bludgeon turn into this?

That Bludgeon design is so crazy with the Gurren Lagaan inspired oni face torso. And it transforms into an oni spider tank? I'll take one!  

 

With these two new figures and the BW figures I'm anxious which direction they will go in the future.

While I like the way TM2 Megatron looks and have also pre ordered Optimal Optimus, but this was so TM2 Megatron would have his nemesis, the look of the other BW characters don't really do it for me.

The samurai line looks great but doesn't really fit in with the IDW look in my opinion. On the one hand I want the these figures, on the other hand not really sure if I want to start a new collection.

 

I was bored, so....

 

I need that in my life.

 

Man, I wish these werent legends.
