I'm making the last choice for my collection and am having much trouble... was wondering if the community can help me with this  

My collection that I managed to stuff in two Detolfs (with the help of aftermarket shelf clips) consists of the following:

Autobots:
- Gen Metroplex
- Takara LG 35+42 God Ginrai
- UW Superion + CW Alpha Bravo + CW Powerglide
- CW Defensor + CW Deluxe and Legends Groove
- UW Computron + Gen Cosmos w/ Payload
- POTP Volcanicus + POTP Slash
- POTP Orthia + Siege Chromia + TR Arcee

Decepticons:
- TR Trypticon
- CW Megatron + upgrade kit
- CW/TR Soundwave, Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Howlback
- CW Devastator
- UW Bruticus + CW Blast Off + CW Shockwave
- POTP Abominus + POTP Cindersaur
- TR Sixshot
- TR Sky Shadow

Space and budget wise, I am choosing between the following:

- Option 1: Get KO PE HFG upgrades for all of the existing combiners (because I think the improved proportions make the combiners look so awesome with them).

- Option 2: Add the following 3 combiners: 1) CW Sky Reign + CW Wreck-gar, 2) CW Menasor + CW Brake-Neck + CW Blackjack, and 3) CW Optimus Maximus + CW Rodimus (Menasor to be displayed combined, while Sky Reign and Optimus Maximus will be displayed in individual robot mode for sentimental value).

I currently have the combiners and upgrade kits sitting in front of me and it's driving me nuts.

I would add menasor, but not the other two combiners. If you can't get both him and the upgrades, then I would just get the upgrades.

 

A lot of the varied color KO sets are long out of stock. Do you have a supplier nailed down for them that actually has them in stock?

 

I have the combiners and all the upgrade kits in various colours in hand  

It's so hard to let some go  

 

At the very least Computron and Superion need the chest plate pieces PE made. The Takara Computron tries a little harder but still totally fails to look like a proper Computron without it. Proper hands and feet from either the legit or KO sets are a must to finish the look.

Volcanicus needs both PE kits to look any good, definitely grab those.

For Devastator I’d recommend the DNA designs kit as to me it was the best of the combined mode fixes even if it doesn’t touch the individual bits.

Bruticus Id say get the PE kit with the new cannons and head, then hunt down the KO hands and feet that give him toon colored feet. Then Abominus I’d say just get the KO hands and feet.

 

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll upgrade the combiners... but I'll keep the other combiners just for a bit in case I can convince myself to keep them all
