Loosen the screw on the back of head a hair. Worked for me.

 

How do you feel about the fake wheels?

 

The real wheels being on his shoulders would stand out too much like I think they do on warbos and uts and no wheels at all wouldn't look right either so I think the right call was made to have them be fake smaller details.

 

Impetus is pretty sweet, but damn are my hinges tight across the board. Lots of tabbing in and I really don't dig the back section with how the 2 halves of the chopper tail fold in, but other than that, I love it. Lots of character and beautiful alt mode. Arm mode seems solid af as well, stoked for Bruticus.

 

Can somebody who has the UT set do a comparison of the respective Vortex’s ... I really wna replace mine for my Combaticon display but if Impetus is smaller that may be a pretty significant turn-off ...

Does it look like the face plate and eye visor can be separate for the head or it’s all molded together.

 

Seemed like all one piece to me with paint apps. Didn't recall seeing any sort of seams to indicate different parts. I can check again later to verify.

 

How about some impressions of MMC Impactus with MP Megatron / Soundwave / FT Roadking ??

 

I just received mine last night and am in pure awe, it just feels so good in hand, looks fantastic in all modes, and is a joy to transform. Definitely in my top 5 figures this year, and leaps and bounds better than my UT and Warbo vortexes (I do not own zeta, he was too chunky for stand alone and am waiting to see if FT does one for combined)

 

For someone who ordered from PSX, what's the latest status they have on their Vortex?

 

This is what I have and I am in the San Jose, CA area. Neither tracking number provided by PSX works on USPS.com but given the package movement I suspect that despite their "This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date" disclaimer, USPS already has the item and is shipping it my way.

  Although for what it's worth, 17Track's updates have been a couple of days behind for me - the latest update on mine popped up this morning so hopefully yours is already in the states?

You can pivot the hips all the way around and flip the thighs (it sounds crazier than it is... I don't mean taking anything off, I just mean manipulating the joints) to make UT Swindle slightly taller as well.

 

I personally prefer Swindle to be the smallest of the group anyway
