You're totally right. Does Hound have a peg or hole in the center of his back to plug, like, TLK Hound's gun strut?
Yes, he has a peg hole in the centre of his back. That's a fairly standardized feature for all Siege toys, specifically for the Weaponizer gimmick. All the Deluxes have a 5mm port on the soles of their feet, on the outsides of their shins, on their forearms, shoulders, and one in the middle of the back. The Voyagers (at least the ones I have, not interested in the Seeker mold, and Springer's not out around here, yet) have two ports on the back instead, which unfortunately means that they can't have a nicely centered backpack unit.
That was something that I hoped would become a thing when they made Bumblebee a Deluxe back in Classics. But then they went and eventually introduced the Legion and Legends price points/size classes instead.
Yeah, personally I want them to be deluxes because in the show they were eye-to-eye with the Autobros and I enjoy them more than legends and titanmasters and the like.
Ok but you it was just mentioned they didnt do anything for Beast Wars when they gave us the best fan Beast Wars figures you can have. They are not that expensive if you shop right or work
Just in case you didn't read, the conversation in question was about HASBRO, not Takara-Tomy. TT are responsible for the MPs, HasTak work together on everything else. Hasbro did NOT offer anything, directly, from themselves of any real worth in terms of BW. Takara-Tomy with Encores and Masterpieces. In case you forget, the mammoth for Big Convoy was a Takara-Tomy only production and design, Hasbro has never imported it or used it as far as I know. (If they did, it would have been an exclusive for a convention or something.) So, again... Hasbro did nothing Beast Wars related for the anniversary. POTP Primal was a nice step in the right direction, but it falls way short of Takara-Tomy's work. And that wasn't what I was discussing with that person. Ah, one of "those" digs. Lovely attitude. Let's not forget that people DO work and it's still not that easy for them to afford them as you think it might be. Not to mention, for a number of people they weren't worth the asking price... Broken pelvises, broken shoulders, paint chipping, etc. The fans want more than an uber expensive, but not worth the asking price, collectors line no one asked for but Takara Tomy just assumed everyone wanted. You got a like, sir.
universe 1.0 nemesis prime was a target exclusive black and yellow repaint of big convoy with bloody tusks released by hasbro. also ultra mammoth was a blue and white version released in one of funpubs figure subscription services, which is pretty comparable to a botcon exclusive
Fair enough, but that's not this year or the anniversary, is it? Which is still what my original point was...nearly a week ago. Why comments made that long ago are still being dredged up and bickered about is beyond me. Hasbro just dropped the ball on the BW anniversary. Much like they dropped the ball on this figure and Unicron Trilogy fans deserve better. Period.
i was merely replying to what you posted tonight, specifically about hasbro having never released that mold i definitely agree they dropped the ball on bw anniversary. personally i think if people are looking at this as specifically the ut hot shot then sure they will probably be disappointed, but if they look at it as that hot shots g1 universe counterpart its easier to accept
Sorry, no, you're right. I'm angry at him, not you and it came out as being angry at you. I'm sorry about that.
No i think I was just trying to explain how it started. I thought I was just talking with you guys. I dont do "gotcha's" or "troll" ppl or try to make ppl feel bad. Most likely you misunderstood me or vice versa. I can clearly see theres a typo "you" that doesnt help. Oh well i definitely didnt know it was about just Hasbro. This was my fault. But i thought i was just talking friendly with you guys hence the smiley face. Truth is i consider you guys part of the community & thats a good thing. So not sure where the hate comes from probably because im ADD & miss things
Unicron Trilogy Hot Shot has upgraded several times before, so I'm okay with this. If anything, it makes sense that he'd be blue and yellow since he had those colors in Cybertron. Even though this is technically a G1 version of Hot Shot, I can see this as an upgrade of his UT counterpart.
