He really is, like a lot of G1 toys when they’re found in pristine condition and the stickers are as good as they should be as if they were just unsealed :)

    All the best

What's the story on that extra toe/tab under his right foot? None of my Astros had that.

    (Nice shots, by the way).

Some of the Astrotrains had the "complex" foot, others didn't:

More on Astrotrain (written by some crazy loon :D ):

Even more on Astrotrain including the awesome hardcopy prototype seen in G1 catalogs (also written by that same crazy loon):

My battered Astrotrain that's missing a side panel.

Still bizarre to me to see other people post my articles :lol

But yes, I had to borrow a leg panel off another Astro as this one was 99% perfect, but had a spoiled rubsign, and the only other good one I had access to was a different mould! Hence the difference in the moulding under the foot on each leg. It's gonna bother me, but I can't sort another perfect Astrotrain with ease, so it'll have to do :)

One of the best things about toy collecting is the paperwork they came with. Some really rare stuff out there too.

Opened the Hot Rod reissue I ordered today. I also ordered a Starscream, but it wasn't delivered for whatever reason.

Also pictured is a RID Rollbar I got for $5 SGD. Not G1 per say, but it's a G1 mold so i say it counts.

I love to look at the booklets and especially the old ads. Like this one with a very tall Superion.
