The sail barge got over 8000 backers....... but that doesnt jive with the agenda the writer of that kotaku article wants to spread. because if he accurately said over 8000 backers then people might think this has a chance too.

Dont know about you guys that already ordered but if its a few days to go and its under its mark.. I might just go chosen prime route for 2 more just to try and make sure it gets made.

if we are spending 600$ of this thing... 3rd party guys should have a field day creating extras for this Unicron... because if we are willing to spend 600$... we'll spend more to perfect it or add things to its display like moon bases etc.

Kotaku is wrong about damn near everything, so that article should be a source of hope.

    C. The gloom and doom gets more reads and thus, more ad revenue.

This is just an opinion piece based on nothing. So in other words just another trash Kotaku article.

There’s nothing to see in the back. People need to stop being so picky about the back of a transformer and act like they’re gonna display them with their back to people because that’s literally how they act when they complain about backpack or kibble or hallowness.

And yeah I’m aware of the complaints of “but I want it to look good for dynamic poses!” Yes yes you’re still gonna get your “likes” on here regardless.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I'll see how things are shaping up with a day or two left. I don't really want an extra one, but I figure it would be a good investment. If it helps get this fully funded...okay!

THIS is the part that "worries" me most - in very fun and, potentially, exciting ways. I'm already envisioning a custom display. There are so many things that 3P companies could make for this. In for a penny............

How about a wrecking ball video with Miley Cyrus if they get enough backers?

This might be the biggest marketing campaign I've ever seen for a single toy.

18 days left and they have less then 2500 people
willing to pay about 600 for 19 pound foot breaking god

doesn\'t look good so far for his production
looks like the armada mold may be the only planet unicron unless it changes real fast, if they scaled it down and dropped the price i bet it would have more
backers, I’d say a supreme/commander class would have done it

There are more trolls on TFW forums than backers of Haslab's Unicron. Here's hoping that changes in 18 days.

At that point would they even need to crowdfund it?

enough with whether Unicron gets funded or not...

the real question is will this thread catch up with the MP-44 one? ;)

It's got about a third of the replies and a sixth of the views, but that's over less than 30 days compared to over a year for MP-44

No not really, I’d pay around 150-250
For it at a small size
Honestly never bought a titan class figure because none of them were ever characters I really cared much for, aside from devastator who was just a brick so I didn’t bother, but i have all four different supreme class unicron’s

The major problem for most people is the price tag in the time frame, it's just too soon, most collectors can't afford to set aside 200 bucks a payday till this campaign ends, haslab should change their model to a payment plan one like Sideshow, garuntee people would buy if they could spread payments out a bit more

Yeah basically I’d rather pay 100 a month rather then have unicron destroyer of wallets happen in one chomp

    This ^^

I'd love to be able to back it. But I just cant find a way of making it doable.

Good luck to all those who are putting the money down. Hope it all goes through for you.

Wait, and lemme get this straight. If this doesn't get all 8000 backers, the people who did back up Hasbro, won't get refunds, right?
