No. I managed to fix my broken wires on my own after requesting a replacement. Decided the headlights look like crap anyway and haven't bothered to follow up.

My opinion is that you should never have to follow up with customer service, and if a follow up is necessitated, I probably won't buy that brand anymore.

I'm a weird guy when it comes to stunticons, I prefer cartoon Breakdown and Wildrider (especially his head) over their toy selfs, but hate toon Deadend while love his toy version. I was not sure about Dragstrip, cause they are similar and I like both, so I tried to paint the toon head in toy colors, and I dig the resulting mix, so no need for the toy version. I like both Motormasters too, so the first out will go home (cartoon then). Come on, @ibot, give us some Motormaster soon!

I honestly think my repaired arm looks better than this so called replacement, but I've not seen it in hand yet so I will reserve judgement till then

I don't know, dude. I could see it being a light trick on the inside edge, but I see a lighter stripe on the front that isn't consistent with the way the light hits it. Good luck though.

 

XTB sent me replacement leg parts for Flipout in 2 weeks from China. A+ service and customer support despite the bot issues. So that is a big plus.

 

Good to hear. I just ordered G2 Overheat (aka Black DragStrip)... so I hope no qc/tolerance issues.

Oddly my G1 Yellow Overheat is fine. I did shave down the lip on the front hood section and the arms a bit to be safe... but no issues or random shoulder cracks thankfully.

I'm torn between OverHeat and DeathWish as to which is my fav XTB Stunticon. Both are great bots and so G1 S2 toon accurate it's insane. I hope this theme continues with MM.

 

I think I just got a reply from XTB, stating that they don’t have the parts until they go back into production.

 

They go back into production? So are they on a break or something?

 

The way I interpret it is that so many people have asked for replacement parts that they have run out from what they had with the production run and until the factory has an opening to produce more people will have to wait. The factory (assuming it is doing well) has projects scheduled constantly so adding in something unexpected like this will probably take some time.
