I'm from Canada, so free shipping won't work for me. Just wondering with this is there like somewhere I can go for the early access stuff.

All of us Premium Members will get emails for when and where to early access. We don't know details beyond that.
Premium is premium regardless. The only difference is that some of us took advantage of the offer for free membership with a purchase and some missed that window and paid for it's normal value.

All I can do now is wait for the star wars exclusives. But maybe I should test this out with either the botbot exclusives or power ranger exclusives to test it out and so my premium membership is not a waste

I’m probably more interested in hasbros power ranger offering than anything else so thanks for the heads up. Just checked my email and saw I got the same thing.

The $10 deluxes didn't hurt either.

So Premium members get to wait around on their computers a day earlier, hooray! This "we can't guarantee availability" is BS.

Preorders, Hasbro. Say it with me. PRE. ORDERS. Put them up before the 'Con and let Premium members get dibs on them FIRST-- with strict limits per member of course. This way every Premium member that wants one, gets one.

Anything else is not worth Premium to me. Barring some huge amazing reveal, I am DEFINITELY not renewing Premium next year. Such a waste of potential.

I'm not sure how pre-orders would fix the problem - they'd still only have a limited amount to go around. It would just be sitting around refreshing till the pre-orders opened instead of sitting around refreshing until the orders open.

The reason they can't guarantee availability for Premium members is that there could very well be more Premium members that want to buy an item than the number of units of the item they have.

Pre-orders would be up before the 'Con. You'd have first dibs, so an almost zero chance of selling out of anything unless Hasbro greatly, GREATLY underestimated demand. Plus they could always, you know, actually put them up at a specific time and send out an e-mail a week or two ahead of time telling you that exact time.

And, even if we want to go by your scenario, you'd still know before the Con whether you have one secured or not. No playing roulette by waiting 1 1/2 months after the Con if you want to avoid eBay.

Or, alternatively, put them up for preorders months in advance (like March or April) and essentially make their non-SDCC batch to order. "Okay, beyond our designated SDCC 6000 units of Ghostbusters Prime (I'm just making up numbers here, I have no idea), we've got 3500 preorders from Hasbro Pulse during our 3-week preorder window. So make ~10000, factory!"

Other than free shipping-- which is only actually free this first year-- I'm getting basically nothing from this Premium thing unless I happen to attend a Con they're at. (The sole exception to this is the Cassette Reissue 3-pack, which seems to be a Pulse exclusive.) Once my Premium membership expires, I'll just order the stuff that I ordered this year from Hasbro Pulse somewhere else like BBTS or Amazon, and get free or nearly-free shipping instead and at the same price. There's just no point to spending money on this unless Hasbro Pulse really goes out of the way to make you feel like you're in an "in-group".

I'm assuming that part of the issue is just the way their website and eCommerce is currently set up. They almost need a Premium user portal under the main domain that only premium users can access for exclusives, additional discounts, etc. Or just make the whole damn Pulse site paid-subscription only for access and provide discounts, free shipping, exclusives, etc. It's so redundant to what is in stores and online shops that I think the frustration comes from there. There is no perceived value outside of perks that seem to be small in scope or demographic.

But as frustrating as it is, this is a step in the right direction. I actually emailed their public relations recently. She was super responsive and nice at first but no one from the Pulse team ever got back to me. And seeing as she is not the correct contact, I just let it go. I was just inquiring to see if they will provide anything exclusive from SDCC to Premium members and just mentioned that it would be a great step in validating a renewal since it's been a little underwhelming in value thus far unless you happen to have gone to a few of the conferences.

So, cheers mates. Best of luck to all of those looking for an exclusive! I've said it before and I'll say it again - this ain't nothing like a Macross DX VF-1 pre-order in the middle of the night. Even if what I want sells out in seconds, and I lose out, at least it won't be at 3:00 AM.

It really isn\'t worth paying $50 for the Pulse sub - unless you plan on buying everything from Hasbro and you think you\'d save on postage - but they keep putting things up on their eBay page that they don\'t put on Pulse. I don\'t know if Ghostbuster Optimus is going to be worth the $50.00 depends on how many people want to off load the one they got at SDCC for what they paid for it.

To be honest I\'ve been seeing him for £170 and thinking Nah.. at that price i\'d be to scared to even open in it - if it was cheaper at least then I could treat it as a toy and not some art piece.
Also if I paid crazy money for it and the box was damaged I\'d be super annoyed as the Box is a large part of his interest (I strongly recommend those who dispose of boxes keep the box or sell it for this one - it might be worth as much as the toy is).

It's a shame that Pulse doesn't offer free shipping in Canada too. The figures come from here *LOL* I really want the MP-10G, at a reasonable price. He's already $150 USD. I can't justify an additional $50 USD to get early access. That puts him at $270 CAD (at a 35% exchange rate).

When they say limited stock, how many would you estimate they will have for sale, a couple hundred?

I'm confused. Is the date for early access on 9/3 or on 9/9? I can't find an email or any website confirming the date, except for that screenshot that was posted, which I can't find online anywhere as of it.

Was just as confused as you were while I was at SDCC and told I couldn't buy anything because of the imaginary email I never got, I tried contacting hasbro but they claim they sent it, all my info is accurate, nothing in my spam folder. Between this and the failing haslab projects I think they are just trying to purposely fail.

the haslab projects are not failing, unicron needs about 5000 backers still. the current number doesnt represent anyone ordering outside of pulse directly. also the sail barge go 122% (over 5000 backers) of its backers in the last 6 days to finish at 176% total.
