If we shoot at $20 per movie, around $460.

I’m okay with this as I have been actively avoiding purchasing most Marvel movies because I knew we would eventually get something like this.

Same. Only Marvel Blu-ray movies I own currently are Iron Man and Infinity War steelbook. I wanted to get the Endgame steelbook, but the artwork looks bad imo so I might get the regular 4K case version. But besides that, don’t own any others. So the boxset would be perfect for people like us

It’s not confirmed YET. Feige was just talking about the possibility.

I know. But we all know Disney isn’t going to pass that up. I’m like 99% sure it’s happening

Oh make no mistake, an Infinity Saga boxset is 100% most definitely "confirmed" and likely already being worked on. The only things not confirmed are the contents of it and a release date, but an announcement is inevitable any day now. My bets are they'll announce it after Spider-Man's home release, and will be aiming for an X-Mas release window.

The other dude from the room could play Adam Warlock. But then again, infinity saga is already done.

This is how to keep RDJ around, and it works because Rhodey was already recast! :D

I wouldn't be surprised if they announced a saga box set at the disney expo in a couple of weeks.

I think it's because we're in kind of a transition phase from the old to the new where they start showcasing characters like The Eternals and focus a little less on the main avengers group. I think once phase 4 is done it will pick up again in excitement.

Not even in the slightest. I’m so hyped for what’s to come. And I’m glad we’re in a transition period right now, because after all the epic stuff from 2019, I need time to breathe haha

i'm not bored but i'm far less excited than i used to be. some of what's coming doesn't excite me....the choice to move so much that's connected to the movies to a streaming service...the loss of fan favorites...the fact they're not moving in a linear path anymore....some of what else is happening. i'm just not into it seeing them make the same bad choices that the comic industry is still suffering from.

I actually got bored with it after Age of Ultron to be honest. I mean, when we had the build up to the first Avengers movie with Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger...that was amazing as something like that had never been done before. An actual assembling of heroes from various movies to fight together against an enemy.

After that though...the movies started to just feel...I dunno repetitive to me. There were some good films in Phase 2 and Phase 3, but also some bad films. And in a number of ways, if you wanted to know the full story, you had to watch pretty much most of the movies in each Phase to get it. To get this build-up to Thanos that took almost a decade to do. The movies were just steps towards the big event, much like comic books when they do big events and expect you to buy issues of all these comics to get the full story.

I started watching less of the films, in particular Phase 3, and while I did watch Infinity War and Endgame, I just didn't have that excitement like I did watching The Avengers. I did it basically as a competition kinda thing.

Basically, the first time they did the big crossover, it was cool, but after that, it became just a "meh" feeling for me. Especially once all these other companies tried to copy the formula like DC/Warner Brothers, the thankfully short-lived Dark Universe (Universal Monsters modernized), and the Monsterverse (Godzilla, King Kong).

Just my thoughts on maybe why I don't care anymore about the MCU to be honest. Phase 4 just looks bad to me anyway given they're now really scraping the barrel for ideas until the Fantastic Four and X-Men appear.

Maybe now since we're getting to a new chapter with nothing to go with to set up the next big event, but even at MCU's weakest I still get my entertainment.

Marvel Studios Looking To Cast A "Ruler Of An Ancient Kingdom"; Is NAMOR Finally Coming To The MCU?

Marvel Studios is currently loking to cast a character codenamed "David," described as a "ruler of an ancient, distant kingdom."

It's said that Marvel Studios is preferably looking for an actor who is of Asian descent.

Apparently, the movie Marvel Studios wants this character to appear in is in the pre-production stage so whoever it is will more than likely appear in a Phase 4 release like Eternals, Black Panther 2 or Doctor Strange 2.

This is more or less where I'm at, too. I'm not bored per se; just sorta... comfortably done. Endgame concluded all the character's stories & arcs that I really needed/wanted it to, and I'm just not into things apparently getting 'more cosmic' as they keep saying it will, or trying to feign interest in a single thing starring DC(EU) levels of dogshit casting choices like Angelina Jolie or Awkwafina. I'm hoping for the best with Black Widow, though, and will check out Guardians 3 for nothing else than to get one more Rocket fix (now there's a character who should have gotten a solo Disney+ show), but beyond that, I'm good. I've already had nearly 20 years of X-Men and nothing in the world will ever make Fantastic 4 'cool' on screen as evidenced enough times already, so even those acquisitions won't be new/interesting enough to reignite any spark. Especially not if the MCU Spider-Man movies are anything to go by, or as mentioned above, what they're now signing off on in way of casting choices.

Just give me my Infinity Saga boxset and I'll be content :)
