I love that size!

Some people may get mad at me for saying this, but that's why I love Bayformer's designs. They're never simple. I really wish an awesome 3P legends-scale company like IF would do Sentinel Prime or Ironhide or something in this scale.

 

I personally don't like them because they are less chunk and more skinformer. I would love to see the dinobots though, and last knight megatron. Maybe a few others but not at the detriment of their main line.

Honestly at this point IF have completely gone off the rails and I'm loving every second of it!

 

If we're taking scale and not size then these characters should be deluxe size right?

When they annouced these two, didn't they say that they would be coming out this month? Or is that wishfull thinking on my part combined with a feverish dream?

 

Heh, prolly just wishful thinking, because they have a huge backlog of figures. It would be odd for them to immediately reveal and release them when there's still the rest of the DJD, Soundwave v2, IDW Ultra Magmus, Optimal Optimus, Transmetal Megatron, Runamuck, Runabout, and Cliffjumper in the pipe for months now. (And there's prolly a few I'm still forgetting) Wheeljack and Bitstream should be the ones to hit the NA retailers next (as they seem to be available overseas already), and I think the rest of the aforementioned would have to come out first, because it would be weird to have Bludgeon and Lio Convoy jump the line.

I remember back when he first came out as a Pretender. And at that age, I couldn’t help but think he was not cool. However, IF has been my Damascus Road and I have seen the light.

It wouldn't be unlike them though. There have been a couple times they have commissioned a separate factory for a quick run of a completely out of the blue figure. I think Burning Slug and Megatron were quick to release after their announcements.

It's just a matter of scheduling with factories. They can't move a figure that is already being worked on between factories but they can fill space with a completely new figure.

I'm down with the different look and colours of Bludgeon as I get to add another figure to my Samurai bot collection that didn't simply look like a scaled down version of the DNA Design Susanoo.

Lio Convoy as well since I missed out on the PE/Neo Arts version of him.

Am I the only one that thought "Bionicle" when they saw the color shots?

Pretty cool for sure, but I'm not sure where the aesthetic fits in with my collecting scheme. Love seeing new directions for stuff though.
