looking at this , i wish MP24 Star Saber is more stable and has actual working ankle , because he still holds up so well

 

Please tell me that the final product does not have that effing divot on the front of his left
ear/fin, and on the back of the right one?! Of all the pieces to not 'mirror'?

 

Man their engineering is night and day coming off of Ironhide and Ratchet. I think this is probably going to be their flagship figure as far as quality and materials go. I can only ding it for some gaps in alt mode and the headsculpt being off. I quite like how simple both he and Ismenios are. The transformations do nothing fancy but they get the job done.

 

Might be an assembly error? The pieces for left and right would be way too small and similar...please let it not be widespread.

This thing is looking great. Did they fix the eyes or is it just an optical illusion (or the mask being thinner)? Not sure, but I want it again.

 

Not sure, but one of the things they did was to paint the faces silver. I think that's a brilliant move. The whole face just pops.

 

How big's the inner robot?

 

Agreed. Not just the diecast, but I feel the transformation is clunky and inelegant and articulation in bot mode is limited... Or maybe not limited exactly as the blocky design doesn't make posing him fun to me. Both modes look nice, but it's not a toy that makes me want to play with it much.

 

I can't see the legs fully, are those effect bases used to stabilize them? If I were to put my Ismenios in that pose, he'd do a split immediately.

Very glad to see in the video review that Kadmos' posability is better! I am happy to eat crow if we get a better figure  

 

And yet BBTS still doesn't have him yet I have him pre-ordered.

Darn, and the review in the last page is so good at showing him off my interest piqued even more. He looks way better than what the initial reveals had.

 

Totally. When he was first revealed I was like MEEEH. But now I can't wait to have him in hand.

 

NA retailers have to wait for theirs to be shipped to NA, usually via boat. I'd be amazed if BBTS got theirs before the end of the month.

 

Wouldn't shock me. I love my Ismenios but he has no mirrored parts. It's super noticeable on his wings.

 

TCP (in NA) will have theirs tomorrow.

How the hell do you pay for a preorder before being invoiced on tcp?Tcp just keeps saying click the link to pay, but there is no option to pay. That website is a clusterfuck. Most of the items are listed as "join waiting list", if you don't have it remove it from the damn search or mark it out of stock.  

 

Had the same issue got annoyed cancelled the pre order and placed a new one, paid, and it's not sitting in my stash.

 

...whenever i've had difficulty with their website, i just call them: brandon's always been super-helpful and gone out of his way to find a solution...
