    I never did get around to picking him up. I suppose I can look out for him next weekend at TFNation.

    The cockpit shows him to be a tiny jet which doesn't appeal to me but it also reminds me of pre-Earth Laserbeak in the G1 cartoon. His wings also have an organic/creature vibe so I think his jet mode could be repurposed as a Cybertronian bird.

    My favourite aspect of the toy is another large 80s rolling vehicle which I have a proper weakness for - a la MASK - but also that Roadgrabber's inner robot can stand at that console/station.

    After picking this guy up at SDCC, I found myself feeling more than a little bit nostalgic for the original I had as a kid.
