Oh, he's great. Great look bot mode, great look alt-modes, a not-too complex transformation. Its something you feel like you can really play with as opposed to a transformable statue.

As others have said, the only real issue is poseability due to balance. Some people have erroneously accused it of being floppy, but its not. The joints stay exactly where they are. Its just that its such a big, tall figure with a high center of gravity, and with heavy accessories like that big shield, it can be a little hard to get him in a pose that will stay standing.

If you like the character, buy it. I have carnifex as well and love both for different rreaons. This guy is solid as a rock but does take a little bit to pose just due to his size. I have 4 cats rampaging around my house and he has never tipped over once in any pose. His transformations are waaaaaaaaaaay easier than carnifex's shoulder nightmare and he is just plain fun to play with. The optional stickers really topped it off for me, adding a bit more g1 flare over the odd tampos they used. Even my wife was impressed, and that isn't easy to do with a figure.

Wasn't even remotely interested in an Overlord, even while being impressed with Carnifex.

Saw this guy and watched a couple videos. Definitely want.

I've had him in my shopping cart for a week now...
Cause once I get the nerve to drop the 200 bones for Double Evil, I know I'm going to have to grab Power Baser.

Got mine and holy hell is he so much fun to play with. I still like Carnifex but Double Evil is just a lot more...intuitive and user friendly.

So I got the guy out of the box and.....

MOTHER OF GOD! That thing is awesome as sex!

First of all IDK where those stability issues are coming from. Yeah if you put him in a A stance he rocks a bit but I accidently shoved him....big time...And I was like "Oh shit...here goes 240$ down the toilet" he rocked a bit back and forth and just sat in there.....

Anyway....I am super excited. The only time I was so excited was when I got Mp10....Everything is well thought on this guy.If you dont consider that thing an Mp then IDK and frankly, I dont want to learn what constitutes mp for you....Everything from articulation, to transformation (believe me I am not a transformation guy but this one has me excited) is so well thought out....and details, details everywhere....

And to you partsforming naysayers: Here is the pinnacle of what partsforming can achieve, IF the designers are not lazy.

EDIT: If I had a complaint, that would be the fact that the head is a ball joint...and it kinda 'floats in there'. But thats a minor gripe of mine.

EDIT: BTW I was hopping of finding a way to attach his base mode to Trypticon...has anyone tried that/found a way to do it?

The base mode was the kicker for me. Wish it were slightly smaller in bot mode so it didn't tower over MT thunder manus

But I love the base mode, it's so g1 charming and looks brilliant next to Utopia and Pandimus

If anyone needs this big gorgeous lips boy. I’m currently selling mine for $210 shipped in the US. Comes complete with all parts, accessories and boxes. Wonderful figure but I’m getting out of the MP styled game.

Just picked up this guy and WOW! Where has he been hiding. My first encounter with Fans Hobby and I am impressed. He is definitely my kinda bot. Big, chunky, fun and easy to transform... well made, super solid, tight joints all around, fun to play with... and spot on G1 accurate to both form, function and coloration. Grand slam home run for Fans Hobby! Well done team. You hit all the right notes here. And a working Powermaster gimmick?!? Dang. Just pretty jaw dropping all around. Shocked I don't see more talk about him? He's in the running for my #1 pick for figure of 2019... right there... and dare I say surpassing FT RoadKing.

A few quick pics of this fiendishly plump puckered menace of Master Force killing machine:

and since Overlord needs a nemesis... can I get a Super Ginrai over here please!

    Just look at these lips!

Fans Hobby might not load up on diecast and paint the way Fans Toys does, and their figures are a bit stylized and not pure G1 (or G2), but they're easily one of my favorite 3Ps at the moment because they make big, sturdy, chunky robots that are fun to mess with. And honestly, even without a ton of paint I think Double Evil has fantastic shelf presence. Mine's standing with ToyWorld's Devastator and Zeta's Bruticus, but your eyes are drawn right to Double Evil first. I think he's definitely one of my top five figures this year, and didn't even plan to get him at first as I'm not really a fan of either Overlord or Masterforce.

Completely agree. Though I am of the mind that total g1 compliance is not always the best thing to do, the liberties they took improved upon the aesthetics greatly. I wish all mps were like this.

Its indeed the best thing to comeout this year so far.

EDIT: Lets not forget that Fanshobby re-engineered the damn thing after having nearly a prototype, because of fan demand, and yet they kept the costs at price tag that is affordable, and the quality is supreme.
