I saw Boom Boom a couple of time yesterday. Sinister and Nightcrawler are clearly the stars of that wave. I saw where someone had hidden the Sinister up high while leaving the rest of the wave on the pegs. People suck.

You should grab the sinister figure and immediately buy/borrow a trade of the Inferno storyline. It'll make you a Sinister fan for sure. I put him and his marauders above apocalypse on my X-Men villain hierarchy. And it's a damn fine figure too. Now we desperately need some of his crew. If they can sneak into the line a dozen snake-people that, based on clearance sales, nobody buys... some Marauders should be an easy no-brainer. And a Maddie Pryor? Heck, I'll take the flight jumpsuit or the Goblin Queen version. I might just have to make one of each in the meantime.

This figure is definitely a callback to the Toy Biz line and more of the X-Factor look. I hope we some day get a proper Iceman with the blue 90’s look but I really want a powered down Bobby with the suit from the animated series and Capcom games. That’s a long shot I know.

That’s because it is the best figure they’ve made still and the cards are great. It’s sad how poorly they’ve done Iceman over the years.

Inferno is probably still my favorite X-Men story line all these years later. I'd kill for a Goblin Queen version of Madleyne, but it's probably more likely we'd get her appearance in the 90's issues of X-Man in the full black jumpsuit she had then. The Goblin Queen version is probably "too skimpy" for retail in Hasbro's eyes.

That's how I found a Jubilee for my friend. Up high, like some dope didn't think I could reach it.

I like Sinister as a character but I hate that pointy teeth vampire look he has. If I would've picked it up, it would've been too tempting to just flip, so I didn't. Hopefully somebody who can appreciate it got it.

In other news, Walmart decided to ship 80th Cap after all!

Finally opened this. Very pleased to say the least. Definately worth it for a second Juggernaut.. there are more differences than I originally thought now seeing them side by side. The Colossus is spectacular too and a great addition to the collection! 5 stars.. very pleased!!

I wouldn’t worry about it. I got the whole Caliban X-Men wave way after release on clearance. These things will be around and drop in price if you have patience and keep your eye out.

Just curious (not sure I want to yet) would anyone here be interested in the wolverine from the Wolvie hulk 2 pack? I have the vintage wolverine and I’m not sure I want to keep the first appearance figure

Got silver Samurai from gamestop, done with the x-men vintage line for now since i don’t want or need x-factor cyclops or wolverine.

i haven’t seen the Caliban wave since release in any big #’s and only left overs of the sasquatch wave. there is no telling what will or won’t be around later with hasbro’s wacky distribution.

So my Walmart is starting to stock the new ML stuff. But man...those cards on the X-Men retros are all bent and crushed :lol

    20190810_140145.jpg

Picking up a Storm anyway for the X-Men display. They had a whole case of the 80th Thor as well, but they haven't put it out yet.

I find around black Friday a ton of Legends go up for cheap on major websites that "somehow" never had them in stock when they were current. I don't advise anybody to wait for that, just don't lose hope if your stores regularly skip multiple waves because they're stuffed with snake/beetle people (or nothing).

I've only seen the Xforce wave twice and each time it was Wolverine. Worked out for me since Wolverine was one of the figures I wanted most from the wave. Sinister looks good but I might be good with my Toy Biz version. Night crawler however...definitely getting that since I hated the way the hips were on my Toy Biz version(like detents with very wide increments).

This new Xforce Wolverine surpasses the 2013 version. Whereas the 2013 version was a big step in the right direction, the new one outdoes it in every way. More range of motion for the shoulders, just as much butterfly hinge range, 90 degree hips instead of 45 degree, arguably better claws and sufficiently bigger/angled mask ears.

Only issues with mine are a looser right wrist, paint scuffs and possibly some red overspill for the eyes(seems like Hasbro sculpted an outer section so that the outer section would be red with white gradiating out from the middle but with a tiny area to paint, the factory probably just skipped it over).

While the new head sculpt might seem like it's just a retooled head sculpt with 2 panel lines scribed onto the forehead area, the mask itself near the cheeks is actually different from previous Hasbro Wolverines.

Inevitably this figure will probably be repainted as the Astonishing X-men blue/yellow costume and/or the current brown costume Wolverine has in the new X-men books. If it's the ASX version, hopefully it's retooled to have the ribbing on the blue areas of the costume(which are shown when Simone Bianchi drew Wolverine with that costume, I don't think John Cassiday nor Jrjr drew it that way).

25E142F9-921B-4BBE-81AB-5C53CEAAEAF6.jpeg Pretty Stocked at Toys R Us in Ottawa. Lots of 80th Iron Man but no Cap. I was looking for the Alex Ross Cap.

Man, I’m still looking for the MCU MJ figure. Can’t believe I didn’t jump on that when I had the chance. She’s is so overpriced on eBay now it’s crazy!

1991 Toy Biz Cyclops was my first Marvel toy I ever owned when I was a young lad so the vintage Cyclops was a must have for me. :)

Plus that sweet sweet kung fu snake (claw?) hand is worth the price of admission alone. :p

It can always go the "Walgreens exclusive" route, thats how we got Illyana, Mystique, and I think the new White Queen too? Speaking of Emma, has anyone spotted her at Walgreens yet?

    True but this:

And yeah, finding them in store is a crapshoot but pretty much everything can be found online for retail or much less if you just wait.
